Materials not durable
I Loved the height of the scratcher but the carpet bottom fell apart very fast (split open first). The balls also have already fallen off. Maybe my cats are too rough but I have had previous scratching stands that have lasted 2-3 years. Disappointed in the materials but I was able to DIY something so I get a few months out of it

The height is perfectâmy cats like to stretch to the top at times. I put it at the corner of my couch that they had been scratching. They havenât scratched on the corner since they got the post. It is very sturdy. It was an excellent purchase!

This thing is awesome.
I mean for $24 I never thought I’d be able to get my cat something so well built. The carpets really good quality it’s all nice and strong. I never thought I’d get something this tall for that price. I just got it today so we’ll see how the next few months ago. But I’m hopeful it looks amazing. I hope Trekkie likes it. Oh I got the dark gray by the way and he’s a black cat so we’ll see how it goes.

Scratching Post Defective and of Inferior Quality
I have included several photos of the scratching post I purchased from this seller and it was delivered on October 22, 2024, so about two and a half months ago. As you can see my two year old cat lives it. He loves to scratch and climb on it. His little sister loves scratching it as well though not nearly as much. I have also included a single photo of the scratching post I got for my older cat when he was 10 weeks old, so it is nearly two years old and other that being well loved it has no parts coming off it. However, the newer scratching post is of inferior quality and/or is defective in it manufacturing as it is already coming apart after only two and a half months to say that I am disappointed is putting it mildly. This is completely unacceptable for an item of its cost. I cannot recommend that anyone purchase this product. You would be better of spending your money elsewhere in my humble opinion. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FEOM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CANNOT RELY THAT IT WILL BE OF GOOD QUALITY AND WITHOUT DEFECTS. THEY SAY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR BUT NOT IN THIS CASE!

I got the 34″ scratching post for my 5-month-old kittens, and while they definitely enjoy it, there are a few drawbacks. The design is lovely, and the premium sisal rope is perfect for scratching. The hanging ball adds a fun touch that keeps my kittens entertained.However, the weight of the post is too light, and it tends to fall over when they jump on it, which can be frustrating. It would be much better if it had a sturdier, heavier base to handle more active cats.Overall, itâs a decent scratching post for smaller or less active cats, but it could use some improvement in stability for more playful kittens.
