REDUCES ANXIETY, BOREDOM AND DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR – LickiMat helps calm and soothe your pet by helping release endorphins through the promotion of licking. Safe Alternative for your dog to lick. LickiMats are a perfect delivery system for supplements, medications and treats. Reinforce good behavior and replace anxiety with a long-lasting treat. Perfect for crate training.
DENTAL HEALTH – LickiMat textured surfaces promote pleasurable licking action, which generates saliva helping protect your pet’s teeth and gums. Scrapes food pieces and odor-causing pieces off your pet’s tongue, promoting healthier teeth, gums and fresher breath.

Customers say
Customers appreciate the pet feeder for its ability to keep their dogs occupied and engaged. They find it useful for keeping their pets entertained for at least 15 minutes. The product works well for peanut butter, yogurt, and thin liquid spreads. Many customers appreciate the calming effect it has on their pets. However, some have mixed opinions on cleaning ease, durability, chewing ability, and suction power.

Loved these for Puppies or Gentle Chewers
We bought these in September 2023 and they have lasted until now (September 2024)! Our puppies (now 1 year & 8 months) loved these!Great to keep them engaged if you have to hop on a work call or for some mental stimulation.Weâve used pumpkin, PB, coconut oil, coconut water, Kefir, etc. Pro-tip, spread your mix on the liki mat and then freeze it flat for an hour or so. It makes it last much longer!!Whenever I put coconut oil/water on this and freeze it, my girl is occupied for almost 30 minutes. These clean really well and hold up well too.Iâd be careful and supervise if your dog is a big chewer like mine. Over time, sheâs pulled some of the silicone apart or even ripped the corners off. Our boy is sooooo gentle and has never had a problem though.Overall, I recommend for the price-point, if I do the math, these were well worth it. They lasted for 1 year! Canât beat it!!

The soother is accurate
A shmear of peanut butter and giving it to our dog when leaving distracts her and keeps her separation anxiety in check. It takes her mind from us leaving. The short teeth of the mat make it easy to clean too.

Good quality and works as advertised
I am pretty impressed with these. My cat is wet-food-only and has a super sensitive stomach, and yet has never recovered from being denied a constant stream of dry food so perpetually hoovers up everything edible within five minutes. Not a great combo.I got these on impulse to see if they would help and I’ve been pretty happy with them. They definitely do extend meal times — normally he’s done in 3-4 minutes and it takes him about 15-20 with these (less time with the orange one than the green). He does get bored eventually and stop trying for the stuff that gets stuck in the corners, which I feel a little bad about, but it HAS helped keep the mess off the floor which is great, since he has less food in his mouth at a time (and thus doesn’t need to pause to spit out a giant bite onto the linoleum). They seem to be holding up well, too — no raggedy textures to the surface, etc.The one thing that hasn’t held up is how easy they are to clean. Initially I think the silicone must have had some kind of anti-food coating such that I could just rinse this thing off after a meal or soak it for like a minute and it would be ready to go. Over time that property has faded, so now I do have to soak them some and then take a soft bristled toothbrush to them. Whatever, it’s not that much work I guess. They also have gotten a little wavy over time — I don’t own a dishwasher, I think it’s just an artifact of storing them and then washing them. Again, not a huge deal. The hardest thing is just figuring out where to store sticky-textured silicone implements amongst my cabinets and shelving, which I’ll call a win. I’ve been thinking about getting some more, but I think first I’ll see if they continue to hold up over time to make sure it’s a good investment.

These work!
So…we have a barking problem. When there’s a knock on the door and then for many, many minutes after our guest has arrived, little Charlie barks at them. The initial barking is a good thing…but the continued, not so great. Our training method is working! We hold Charlie back or pick him up at the initial knock on the door, and tell him he’s a good boy (for alerting us of “danger”). Once the guest is in, we remove the lick mat from the freezer (where it’s stored with a delicious pâté of some sort smeared on). We then deposit the mat and Charlie behind a baby gate a distance away (where he can still observe us), and allow Charlie to lick his yummy mat (positive association) while the “danger” speaks pleasantly and does us no harm. This seems to be quieting Charlie down! He’s now starting to run to the lick mat area a few moments after guests arrive. For this purpose, the lick mat is helping tremendously.

It’s fine, but hard to clean
I found that it was very hard to clean, too much time even when you soaked it. The grooves are really hard to get in between, because of that I stopped using it, I was afraid I wasn’t cleaning it well enough.

My girls are so thrilled over their new Lickimats! My three pound, Tuti, doesnât have a bottom jaw or teeth so she usually eats off of a Mine Pet Platter (I highly recommend), but I got these mats to give them an activity. Tuti is able to lick up her meal on all three options now! My Honey also loves eating her meal this way. They even shared the green mat since Tuti finished herâs first. Thatâs huge for these non-sharing rescued sisters. ð Iâm a huge fan and will be ordering some of the other designs Lickimat offers as well! They eat raw and this is just perfect. On these I spread and mashed up their raw food and a little baked sweet potato plus their kefir and fermented fish stock and it worked great! It took Honey about 25 minutes to eat and she shared with Tuti and gave up. Tuti is still going at it and itâs been 45 minutes so these are definitely serving many purposes and giving me some quiet time. ð ðI looked at all the different brands and varieties of mats and went with this brand because of their multi-layer non-toxic design. I wanted a bit larger in size and these are 8â. These donât slip and are relatively easy to wash up after.Update: one negative is they smell. No matter how I clean them. 🙁

MY GOLDENS LOVE THERE!
Living in the desert, and with temperatures soaring to 120, taking my Goldens out for walks stopped. They were getting bored, I thought, day after day lying around the house. Looking for something for them, I ran across LIKI PADS! SCORE! Added a swath of peanut butter, easy choice, fast treat! Be sure it doesnât have xylitol which is toxic to dogs, we use Skippy, no xylitol. Always check the label to be sure they havenât changed ingredients. The little nubs on these, relax them and appease their desire to lick and soothe themselves. They ask everyday, same time in the evening, standing by the cupboard I store them! They enjoy, we enjoy happy pups! Win win! They go into top rack of dishwasher after we clean them up a bit if needed. They hold up really well!

Great price for a two pack and some of the more durable lick mats on the market. They donât have suction on the back so beware of that. I have the lickimat keeper which holds them in place so I donât mind.

These work so well! My dog used to swallow her raw food in a few seconds. Now she has to keep licking and spends about 10 mins doing that which is so much better for her digestion. She seems to enjoy it! Not too bad to clean up, i mean the dog does most of that LOL and not sure about suction there isnt any. Which is fine since its silicone it doesnt move at all!Would definitely recommend!

My dog loves this! I tend to put peanut butter or banana on it and it keeps my dog busy for a long time, especially if you freeze it! My dog is very active and this really keeps his attention! Itâs easy to clean and very durable. I also think itâs great value for money as I have seen the exact same ones in the pet shop for double the price!
