Customers say
Customers like the functionality, size, and durability of the animal water dispenser. They mention it works well, holds 32 ounces of water, and is great for small pets. However, some customers have reported that it leaks and wets the cage a lot. Opinions are mixed on the value for money and ease of use.

No more messy kennelsâ¦
Well, my package was delivered somewhere else but Amazon did the right thing by sending me replacements which I truly appreciated! This bottle holds 32 oz, I filled it halfway after washing it and the spout. Inside the bottle is a green turtle, maybe for preventing water leaks (?). At first I thought that was what it was for but lo and behold, I forgot to put it back on the second bottle. It initially leaked for a bit but with some spout testing, it stopped. I also had to teach my young bunny to drink from it. It gives the bunnies freedom to drink water whenever they want and I like how it looked and hold onto the kennel wall. It doesnât bounce back and forth because its held on steady by the holder. I definitely recommend this.

Absolutely Excellent For Even Smaller Creatures… Like Mice…
I see that, for some reason, this product is averaging a little below a 4-star-rating; for myself, I had nothing to complain about when I got this for a mouse that I was keeping, and, boy does a mouse look incredibly cute when it is using its paw to push onto the ball-bearing whilst drinking from the nozzle.Much as I wanted to stock it with Kombucha, bubble-forming drinks like carbonated beverages just don’t seem to be able to hold the liquid in without constant dripping, although, I did not think to maybe try possibly putting a hole or something in the top or upper-side where the gas could escape, rather than pushing the liquid out of the nozzle constantly; I eventually gave up on the idea of trying to fill any of the feeder-bottles that I had of various sizes with Kombucha, and, settled with clean filtered or drinking or distilled water instead, the healthiest liquid other than Primary Water that pets can be fed with anyway. This was always kept inside, partly because the cage I used was also always inside, but, just in case anybody does not know about it for some reason, plastic-containers holding drinking liquid should really not be exposed to direct sun-light, and, I am guessing that some people may have given lower stars than I, due to uses of this product that it may not have necessarily been intended for. I also do not see why it would be difficult to clean given how it can be cleaned just like any other bottle; if it is a matter of reaching and scraping the insides, such things as bottle-brushes can be used… probably; brush-bottles should be able to reach inside if anything needs to be brushed, but, such a thing should really not be necessary if only clean water is the beverage provided. If it is about the nozzle itself, then, even that should also not be difficult to clean either. I don’t know if it is just because maybe I have a lot more cleaning experience than everyone else, but, unless someone is staining it with completely unnecessary beverages like coffee and/or keeping it out-side in direct-contact with both sun-light and the out-door elements, for the life of me I otherwise really just cannot fathom how in the world anybody could possibly find this to be a product where there is any amount of difficulty what-so-ever in cleaning.Anyway, because I got this as another source to provide water for a mouse that I was keeping, obviously, the water in it would last for a very long time before I needed to re-fill the bottle, unlike those smaller feeder-bottles that I had which seemed to needed to be re-filled every week, although I made sure, for a while anyway, that the mouse had multiple beverage-bottles to choose from, and, although I never really managed to figure out how I managed to align one particular bottle with Kombucha that she seemed to really love and enjoy drinking with any other bottles (including this one), this bottle by itself should last an active mouse at least a good two or three months before you ever need to re-fill the bottle.Over-all, this is great for really small pets, and, when I say small pets, I really do mean very small ones, smaller than rabbits or ferrets, such as mice or rats or similar-sized, but, you will certainly need an appropriate-sized cage for such small creatures; I had this mouse in a ferret/rabbit-cage, although, obviously, the bars were not thin enough to keep mice from slipping out, thus I ended up investing and spending a lot of time lining up the whole entire cage with quarter-inch wire-mesh in order to keep any mice inside from being able to escape; the nozzle of this bottle won’t fit through a quarter-inch wire-mesh-screen so if you have such a set-up like I did, then, yes, you will need to cut out a half-inch-square-opening in order for the nozzle to fit through. And these conclude my recommendations for mice-owners (should also be the same for rats… probably).

working well for the chicks
It’s easy to see how full this is, it’s a little difficult to get it in and out of the holder but that’s minor. No drips, and the chicks are easily able to drink from this. Nice and sturdy too. Our old Lixit bottle had its threads stripped and was leaking, so we got a couple of replacements and so far, they both are nice and simple and reliable with a big enough end for our chicks.

Do NOT buy it
They leak a LOT. I keep finding water puddles in my bunnie’s cage within a couple hours of filling it up.ive tried titining it as much as possible, doing different angles. NOTHING has been working. It is a nice size bottle and I like there is a little green turtle in there to see the level (eventhough you can barely see it) and I like that it’s plastic so it can’t break, but the leaking is a big NO. And it’s a waste of money. No matter what I do my bunny’s end up soaked and I know it’s not from pee because I keep watching the bottle and it leaks a LOT. I suggest to NOT buy it!!!!!!

Cute but leaked
I bough 3 and 2 out of 3 drip nonstop no matter the adjustments. But had cute water level floating turtles inside. Since I bought these for my outdoor rabbits itâs not a huge deal theyâre leaking since I change water often anyways but it would get messy for a caged rabbit.

Water bottle
I got this water bottle for my Guinea pig because his last one was leaking a lot. It was a bit confusing to get on the cage but so far itâs working very well. I did have slight issues with leaking though I think I may have just not screwed the cap on properly the first time. My boy loves it so far and little turtle that comes inside is so cute!

I have a rat breeding operation and I had ordered 24 of these to use in new enclosures I built while I was waiting for my main watering system to arrive hoping to save a bit of money compared to the living world product. Out of 24 bottles not one of the DIDNT leak. These things just leak non stop. It doesnât seem like much at first but you come back to them the next day and the substrate is soaking wet, animals are wet and the bottle is completely empty. These bottles are garbage. You are better off paying a bit more for the Living world glass bottles. They will last you a lifetime and wonât leak.
