Very nice
I wanted a longer lead for âsniff walksâ for my19 lb terrier. I accidentally ordered a 3/5â diameter instead of 3/8â the first time. WAY too bulky for my dog. I returned it and re-ordered the correct diameter. Seems very well made. I donât have a lot of sensation in my hands and have so much trouble hanging on to things without accidentally dropping them. The padded handle is great! I just slip it over my hand onto my wrist and no worries about rope burn should one of the 14,000 squirrels currently running around my yard go zooming by. I like the locking carabiner snap and really like the included bungee section at the dog end of the leash. Sheâs a new rescue dog and is quite reactive. It has just enough give to not cause a jarring shock to either the dogâs body or my arm if she suddenly hits the end of the leash. Time will tell about the durability but so far I love it. There was an Amazon coupon available so it was a very good price but even without that I feel it would have been reasonably priced.

The bungee helps! It pulls my girls back when they try to pull it forward. I felt as if it helped me control my puppy better. Sturdy, handle is soft and smooth and the cushion helps when dogs try to pull you.

The leash was as expected. It’s sturdy and the padded handle is a nice feature. The only negative is that the material it’s made from is slick so it slips through your hands. If your dog pulls, it might not be the best option.

Overall; this gets the job done for what I need. (Used on 60 lb bluetick hound mix that is a strong puller. Using for fetch, running, working on recall so I can do off leash training eventually).As many have stated; the handle can come apart easily. I recommend either using some electrical tape etc or maybe straight lashing/whipping with some string or thin rope in advance of use to help keep the padding in place. Not a big deal for me.Itâs a pretty thick rope and has held up so far with hiking on a variety of terrain. Any wet weather like mud youâll likely need to give it a spray down and dry it. Weâve used it throughout the snowy months and dried in front of a heater.The silly part that I find is that the company seems to emphasize the durable locking carabiner clip on the removable bungee portion. For that to matter in my opinion, the part the bungee attaches to on the main line would need to be the same for that to be a selling point or matter. The actual clip on the rope is not the strongest. Iâm not sure if this was an oversight? But the actual clip portion can kind of move back-and-forth and is on the thinner side. If you have a large, strong dog and are using this for training for quick running, and lunging that needs to be stopped, could potentially be problematic. This could be remedied by using another locking carabiner clip purchased separately and directly connect from the rope to the bungee to beef it up. Really depends on what you need. This seems to be an oversight for a lot of the long lines.Overall, I think this is a good purchase. Youâll never get a âperfectâ product.

Not Heavy Duty
It’s not as thick as it looked in the photo so I would say it is Not heavy duty. It has stretch to it so it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I hoped. It does have the reflective tape inside but I’ve been using it a couple weeks and some of that is starting to come apart and stick out the side of the rope. It does the job well but probably wouldn’t purchase again.Great price point for what I got though.

Nice heavy leash.
Our rescue pup is a mix although she looks mostly like a Lab. As such she is a serious puller because every time I take her out she loves to sniff everything. I like the smooth large rope because it is easy on my hands. I like the length because I can let her out or pull her in. I can âstakeâ her or tie her to a tree when I am working in the front yard. I would definitely buy this again.
