Very easy to see
This is a well construed leash and the lights are very bright. The battery and control box look like they could use some improvement but it works. Mine did not look like the Control box fit together that well. I have had people stop their cars or come running out of their homes to see my dog all lit up from this leash. Over all I am very glad I got this for my dog.

Dog leash
So wonderful

Bright, long lasting, but a bit heavy
After a full charge, we turned it on twice for a couple of uses (3-4 minutes each). Then after 3-4 days after the charge, my wife tested this for an upcoming trip. She turned it on, then hung it on the wall. The lights were still going strong after 6 hours without affecting the performance (she finally just turned it off). The lights are on both sides, so the leash is visible for 360 degrees around. The one downside my daughter (the owner of our dog) mentioned was that it is heavy and tends to drag on the ground.

So far so good, and she looks awesome!
Weâve only taken this out on a couple walks but tons of compliments and she looks great!

Nice & Fun
Really fun, & nice leash. Made extremely well, i love the length, itâs strong, & durable. Love all the different color modes, & optiond; but most happy to can select a solid stagnant color. Brightness is great, awesome for night walks so you can be seen. My only complaint, is i can tell it was used. Box was opened, & there was damage to the lead already like it was dragged.

Didn’t last a minute of our first walk.
We were very excited to use this to take our boy to look at Christmas lights. It looked fantastic out of the box and the colors were vibrant. Unfortunately, this broke not even a minute into our first walk with it. The lights shut off and I had figured maybe I just did not charge it enough. When we got home, we noticed wires sticking out of the box. Very disappointing.

Bright, Durable, and a Must-Have for Night Walks
Iâve used the Luminoid LED Dog Leash for about a week now on nightly walks with my 100-pound Rottweiler/Pit mix, Odin. Hereâs my take:Build Quality & DurabilityThe leash feels solid and well-constructed. The rubberized material is comfortable to hold, and even when my dog dragged it along the ground during walks, the leash showed no signs of damage. It appears to have a weave within the rubber that prevents excessive stretching, which is reassuring, especially for larger dogs.Brightness & VisibilityThe LEDs are incredibly bright, especially in the blue and green modes, which even illuminate the ground around us. The red and pink modes arenât as bright but are still very visible. At the park, even from opposite sides, the leash stands out clearly. This is far brighter than the LED collars Iâve used before, making it perfect for night walks and ensuring weâre visible to others and vehicles.Battery LifeThe leash lasts about 7 hours with all lights on and 9 hours when using only the blue mode. This is decent for a rechargeable leash, and the USB-C charging is a huge plus for convenience. I can even charge it with a power bank while camping, which extends its usability during longer trips.Ease of UseThe leash features two buttons: one for power (press and hold to turn on/off) and the other for changing modes. Itâs intuitive and easy to figure out. The various modesâsolid and flashyâare practical for different situations. I prefer the solid modes for wooded areas to create consistent lighting, while the flashing modes work well in well-lit areas like dog parks.ComfortThe rubber material is soft and comfortable to hold, though it may lack breathability in hot weather. Still, the comfort and visibility it offers far outweigh this minor drawback.Pros:Visibility: Super bright LEDs make it easy to spot from a distance.Battery Life: Averages 8 hours, which is reasonable for most uses.Durability: Held up to my 100-pound dog pulling without stretching or damage.Convenience: USB-C charging and easy-to-use buttons.Versatility: Great for walking along busy streets or in the woods at night.Cons:Red and pink LEDs arenât as bright as blue and green.Comfort in summer might be affected due to the rubber material.Comparison to Similar ProductsWhile I havenât used other LED leashes, this one outshines the LED collars Iâve used, both in brightness and practicality. The ability to charge it via a power bank makes it ideal for camping trips as well.Final ThoughtsIf youâre looking for a solution to improve nighttime visibility for you and your dog, this leash is an excellent addition to your safety gear. The brightness and durability make it well worth the investment. Iâd be curious to see how well the material holds up after a year of regular use, but so far, itâs been fantastic.Highly recommend this leash for anyone who values visibility and peace of mind during night walks.

I get so many comments on this cool leash!
This led leash is much stronger than I expected! I think itâs silicone and reinforced LED light strings. My pup gets excited sometimes and can pull on the leash⦠I was very worried that a light up leash couldnât take her bad habits, but it did really great! We went on a 2 1/2 hour walk, covering roughly 5 miles in a metropolis setting. It was a dry evening, but cold – the temperature was right around freezing. The lights didnât dim and lasted the whole time we were out. Not only that, but it was very bright the whole time, providing some light for me to even see obstacles in the sidewalk.I left the leash on for over 7.5 hours in total – it has a battery life of more than roughly 8 hours!! I got tired of waiting for it to dy, so this testing was done between 2 consecutive days. I had it set on the highest power/rainbow setting too. In the last 30 minutes it started flashing red and green instead of cycling through all the colors. It was just as bright as in rainbow mode. I clicked through the modes, and it seems to only do the red/green low power when itâs on a rainbow setting. If itâs on a single color setting it doesnât show red/green.I wish there was a way to know how much % charge is left, but there isnât⦠at least it warns you 30 minutes before dying. The length is a perfect 6 foot, and it even has a metal loop to hang a poop bag dispenser from. I even had to coil it in my hands a few times, and the texture made it really easy to hold onto, and no damage was done when I had to squeeze tight due to the pups excitement.Iâm really happy with the functionality of this leash so far! I know it helps cars see me while I walk around on these cold winter nights. I also donât feel like I need to wear other lights since this leash really makes both of us clear. All the different color options and patterns are really fun too!At $25 currently, this is a really great leash, with good quality that I wasnât expecting! I highly recommend it!!!

I wanted to try a different light-up lead for Christmas, as my dog’s old one had one just one colour and lit up on one side only. Delivery from Amazon US was surprisingly fast, only about a week as compared to the two week estimate. This lead is made of a different material than we are used to, silicon I think, so the durability of that remains to be seen. The lights are in a clear strip in the centre of the lead, enabling them to shine from both sides, which is very helpful. It has a lot of different light settings:- static in a choice of red/green/lilac/blue,- end-to-end movement in a choice of the same colours (like Kit in Knightrider!)- slow transformation from blue/green/lilac/white,- fast flashing red and blue alternate lights,- fast flashing multi-colours,- continuous pulsing of all the colours along the length of the lead,(this last one I find bright and fun without being too painful on the eyes).I’ve already had a few positive comments on the lead from people in the street in the two weeks I’ve been using it. But then I seem to be the only dog-owner in my area with any light-up lead, let alone a fancy one like this! The lead is a decent length of 6 feet and powered by just one battery, compared to the old lead which had two sections powered by two batteries. I am not sure if this has led to the short battery life, however. It only lasts for 2 or 3 evenings of a half-hour walk before it starts to switch itself off abruptly. Our old lead used to dim as the battery power drained, but there is no warning with this one. I don’t know if it is faulty or whether this is just a feature of a different light technology or having only one battery. It would be good if the US seller could contact me as to whether this repeated switching off and short battery life are normal and to be expected, or not. I can’t see an option to contact them via Amazon.
