I love these slow feeder inserts! Most slow feeders Iâve seen are made out of plastic and donât come apart which makes it difficult to clean. These are easy to use, fit all my metal bowls, and top rack dishwasher safe which makes feeding time easy.They are true to the picture, nice gray color. They donât unstick easy, even with liquid in the bowl. My dogs loved them! Huskies need tons of stimulation so these slow feeder bowls are perfect for them! It makes feeding fun and interesting. They can use their nose to move the folds of the slow feeder so they are still able to get to all of their kibble.Overall, I am completely satisfied! The seller even reached out to check we received the package which has never happened before from an Amazon order.

Your dog will try to eat them and, in doing so, he/ she will start playing with the bowl all around your kitchen, with a high risk to damage the floor, or the bowl itself, if the dog is very âenergeticââ¦Just be aware of that and remove the bowl after feeding your dog, or at leaat remove the insert.If you will do so, there will be no risk with this product. Has a smell to it
This slow feeder is very nice. I did do some adjustments to it though. I cut the outside wings. It was to hard for my puppy to eat out of it since sheâs a mini dachshund only at 2 pounds. I had to cut the top part where it was a little shorter. Now itâs a perfect fit for her and sheâs able to eat but still at a pace. The suction is very strong and itâs easy to clean. I will say that it has this strong smell to it. I have tried everything to get rid of the smell and it just wonât go away. Overall it is good slow feeder.

Let me start by saying my dog eats her food very fast, like in secs. I don’t even think she tastes it, never mind chews. I was looking for a slow feeder to slw her down, but didn’t want to purchase a new bowl. This bowl insert is perfect. It has slowed her eating drastically and fits perfectly in her metal bowl. I have long been wanting to get a slow feeder bowl for my lab who eats her food in about 5 seconds, only to cough and sometimes throw up afterwards. But I have two smaller stainless food bowls (not very wide, but deeper than average bowls) that fit nicely into a raised holder and I didn’t want to have to put a slow feeding bowl in the ground. Then I saw this thing that fits right into my dogs existing bowl and suctions to the bottom. It fits even in my dog’s small bowl! can’t believe how perfect it is for my needs! It works perfectly.
