ð©ð²ð¿ð nice ð¥ððð§, works on short and long hair (OK) …. very good value
I’ve had two dogs throughout most of my life and have used many variations of these washing/brushing gloves over the decades. We used these yesterday when bathing both our dogs (90 and 100lb mutts, one ‘medium’ hair, the other long). The long hair dog is not a fan of either showers or being brushed, she tolerates it. To her, these were like a massage and she was remarkably well behaved during the washing process… several hours later when we brushed (it is cold outside) she was enthusiastic. The other one was actually excited when being brushed. One aspect I really like is the spines are far enough apart to easily remove the hair (wave it in the wind, no need to take them off). This, of course comes at a price of more strokes required, but the trade off is the ease of strokes without ‘pinching’ the dogs. The trade off of spike distance and length is was with ease of use and not having to take them off. The very well constructed (will last many years) at this price point pushed them to the rare 5* from me.I obviously haven’t had the opportunity to try them during the ‘shedding season’ but even if they require a supplemental finer brush I assume it will be a lesser effort (the long haired dog needs to be brushed at least twice a week in July/August and it is a chore; these will simplify that).

They’re just ok
These gloves are too short for my hands. The velcro hurts my hands where it closes below my wrist. They worked some on my short hair cat with winter fur and I got a good amount of hair out of him though he hated every minute of it. They did not work on my long-haired cats at all. It’s not easy to remove the hair from the rubber part and it’s really hard to remove it from the fabric and velcro parts.

My dog approves!
As you can see from the nonstop wagging tail in the video, my boy absolutely likes the way these gloves scratch his back and loosen the hair. The gloves are just a little big on me but I have small hands and they only come in one size for a universal fit. There are Velcro adjustable straps on them to tighten however the glove itself is a little big on my hand but still worked just fine. They are very easy to use, and just put them on and pet your dog! All of the little nubs on the palm side of the glove do a great job loosening hair and scratching my dogs back. They are very easy to clean, I just clapped my hands a few times and rubbed them together and the hair came right off. I take my dog outside and pet him with these gloves every other day, if not every day and they seem to be reducing the amount of shedding. Heâs an elderly Labrador with a little bit of Great Dane mixed in, so his hair is fairly short, but he sheds A LOT! Since using these gloves, Iâve noticed his hair feels softer to the touch when petting him. He seems to like the way they feel when I use them on him. I would definitely recommend these gloves. They work well, my dog enjoys the process, and the price is more than fair.

What a waste!
I canât say how this would work on. Long hair dog but I tried it on my 2 short hair cats, my short hair dog and my Himalayan cat and was very disappointed. When I ordered this, I thought it was a generic version of the more popular name brand item similar to this because of the color and look but was disappointed there too. It removed hair but it didnât stay in the glove, the hair just fell off the pet as if I was scratching them myself with my fingers. I canât even say the brushing was soft or easy for my pets. My Himalayan cat didnât like it at all, almost like he was in pain from it. Both of these gloves went straight in the trash. I would give no stars if I could.

They Work Well Enough
PRODUCT/THOUGHTS:Iâm currently using these gloves to groom a long-haired dog. She didnât have any issues with the texture of the gloves. They do seem to work well enough but they just feel pretty cheaply made. Iâm not sure how long they will hold up over time.

A Gentle Brush That My Cats Donât Hate (For Once)
Iâve tried countless brushes on my cats, and they hate almost all of them. Most brushes are sharp and, I imagine, quite uncomfortable for them if not used with extreme care. Itâs easy to see how they could scrape the skin under the fur with their hard, sharp edges.Iâve used a glove-style brush like this before, and my cats seem to tolerate it better. One of them even kind of likes itâitâs almost like being petted rather than brushed. This makes the whole experience much more enjoyable for both of us.This glove does an excellent job of picking up stray hairs and leaves my cats much softer after use. Most of the hair sticks to the glove, and itâs easy to peel off in one satisfying fluff ball. The set includes two gloves, one for each hand. The size is perfect for my medium-sized hands. If you have very large hands, the fingers might feel a bit snug, but I imagine itâs manageable in most cases.Overall, this glove-style brush is a much gentler option that works well for grooming while keeping my cats relatively happyâa rare win when it comes to cat brushes.

Works well and my dog loves it
These do a good job removing hair from your pet. At 1st I was a little skeptical, but once I tried them they did a great job brushing out the excess hair on my Dog. She’s a shedding monster, so these fill up a bit fast, but it’s easy to clean the hair out and go at it again. We’ll see how long they last and I’ll update the review if they start to fall apart or anything. But for under $10 (at the time of this writing) they seem to be a good value.

Very thin but dog likes it
a lot thinner than expected – not as thick as a regular glove but I neat idea and our dog likes being groomed with it.
