Love this brush!
I’ve tried several brushes for my medium hair cat. They hurt my wrist, and it felt like I could brush forever and still not get all her loose hair. Brushing her was a chore, and I didn’t like it. Now, I enjoy brushing her. It’s so satisfying. I brush her almost every day and it’s obvious I’m getting all the hair. The hair is easy to get off the brush too. Also, I can brush her for a long time with no wrist pain. She seems to enjoy it. Her coat feels and looks so much better. I got the small one for my cat. I almost want to buy the big one so I can brush my nephew’s German Shepherd. His coat is not well maintained and i know this brush would do such a great job.No, I haven’t been paid for this review. It’s just a great brush. Lol

Great for My Bernese Mountain Dog!
The Maxpower Planet Hair Brush is exactly as described, and it works wonderfully for my Bernese Mountain Dog! The extra wide design makes grooming much faster, and it does a fantastic job of reducing sheddingâprobably about 95% as advertised. My dog absolutely loves it, and it doesnât hurt her at all.The double-sided rake is great for getting through her thick undercoat without causing any discomfort. Itâs easy to use, and the handle is comfortable to hold during longer grooming sessions.I highly recommend this brush for anyone with a dog or cat that has a thick coat! Itâs effective and gentle.

That it works
I used it on my long haired cat. Works wonders. Pulls out all the loose hairs that knot up. Best brush ever

Works great but not good for sensitive dogs
I have 2 dogs that are shedding in all 4 seasons! This brush pulls the double coats out and makes it easier to manage their fur and less brushing compared to other brushes. But my lab was fine with the brushing but my spitz mix hated when itâs pulling hair and tried to hide from me. It should be ok for most dogs but if your dog is sensitive to brushing, I wouldnât recommend it(or you might have to be really gentle)

Oh my gosh – it really works well
I trusted what I read and bought this brush, with fairly low expectations that it would do what I read. I have a younger cat that ended up having 3-4 very heavy chunks of matted fur on her backsides. We tried the combs, and the scissors (very carefully) and could not get rid of them.Enter this maxpower grooming brush. The 12 teeth side was for grooming, the 6 teeth side was for dematting. We did the 12 teeth initially, and she seemed to like it. We switched to the 6 teeth and you can feel that it really does dig in and grab the matted fur. It does, kind of, brush through the area, but when you apply yourself it really digs in and tries to dislodge the knot. I did it gently initially, then just tried to get ‘into it’ and pull it out.As I did it, she definitely could fee something, but no whimper, no claws or swipes, just a look back at me with a ‘what are you doing back there’ kind of nod. Within maybe 8-10 drags of the brush the knot was gone, and I easily pulled it away from her. You can tell/feel it’s pulling on her, and she did vocalize a bit on the last few drags, but certainly nothing in pain, no meows. We decided one knot per session, so over the next few days, maybe week, we would attack the other knots. One or 2 were easy, one or 2 were really imbedded, but, the magic worked and they came out. I just finished the last one today, and she is knot free. Our girl I guess is a short haired cat, and this brush worked wonders. My wife and I are so glad we got it and can 100% recommend it.

Works great
Nothing to complain about. Took my shedding border collie to the park and removed a TON of fur while playing golf. She didn’t seem to mind or express any discomfort or pain. Definitely a must own for dogs with undercoats.

good value
Works like it says it will. The hair came out like crazy handfuls of old under coat pulled from under the new coat. This was on a German Shepherd and she was happy after it came off.

Works great for huskies!
I have 2 huskies so you already know we need a great DE shedding tool for all their fur. I’ve used the furminator for years and while it did a decent job, I needed something more. Bought these because of the reviews and it definitely lives up to the hype. I like the double sided rake. It works great to get out any loose undercoat and the comb is great for loosening up any mats and doing around their faces/ears. I was really surprised at the amount of fur that came out of my huskies with these tools. I’m really glad I purchased these.

We have 2 British Timber (big dogs) with medium length fur. So far this seems to be getting the undercoat nicely. And I have noticed Info not have to vacuum nearly as often. I normally have to vacuum every day and now can do it once a week and even then there is not a lot of fur collected in corners or under the fridge etc. seems sturdy, does not hurt my dogs, does not break their hair off like other brushes, itâs easy to use and a great price.

This really works! I have a long haired cat that is difficult to groom. It took 4 people in Kevlar gloves to try and comb the mats out at the groomers. Switched to getting her sedated once a year and getting a lion cut. $200-500$ each time. Now that’s she’s getting older (12) I’d like to avoid having her sedated so thought I would try this and it worked like a hot damn! She was severely matted and I was able to get them all out in 1 day. It leaves the fur pretty janky after but honestly it will grow back and she is a happier cat and no longer in pain as these were so close to the skin. 100% would recommend!

I canât say enough good things about this brush! It has truly transformed my grooming routine for my dog. One side features 9 teeth for tackling those pesky mats, while the other side has 17 teeth that work wonders for deshedding. It makes the whole process so much quicker and easier! What I love most is how gentle it is on my dog’s skin. The teeth glide through the fur without causing any irritation, and the handle feels great in my hand, even during longer grooming sessions. If you have a furry friend, this brush is a must-have. Overall, Iâd give it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars!for its effectiveness and ease of use!
