Great toy!!!
This toy is durable and great learning toy! Our child started using the toy at 15 months and is still getting down the hitting with the hammer at 18 months. She loves it!!!! It is a little bit loud but kids playing with toys is loud. Also playing on the wooden floors, the balls go everywhere! I would highly recommend this gift for any toddler. It is cute but I donât love the colors.

Grandson favorite
My 2 year old grandson LOVES this toy. So well made. I did, however, glue on felt chair pads to protect the paint, and it also makes it a wee bit quieter for me. LOL

Fun Toy with a few Oversights
This is a wonderful toy for hours of fun for both kids and adults alike. When my son got this toy last Christmas at eighteen months old, he sat with his uncle in front of the tree and played for a good half hour straight. What we realized really quickly, though, was that our son also liked using the hammer to hit other things, and people. The hammer quickly became a banned toy and has been stored high out of a reach until a few months ago, when my son, now two, somehow found it. At two, he still can’t be trusted with such a weapon, just ask his sister. We had to remove and hide it while he was otherwise distracted so that he can never uncover it again. So definitely know your target when you give this gift.On a good note, this toy is not useless without the mallet. A good firm slap on the ball sends them tumbling through the tower with a pleasing wood on wood sound, which may be annoying to some, but I find it soothing. The balls are easily lost and can be turned into projectiles if one isn’t careful. Also, even with short term mallet use, the balls are dinged up and so is the top of the tower. I can’t imagine what they would look like with long term use. There is also a plastic ring around each circle where the balls rest so you can “pound” them, these plastic rings seem to wear out over time. This makes the ball rest deeper in the hole and will probably become useless at holding the ball at all in a few years. I guess time will tell. Also, this is an occasional play toy for my son, it is not one of the toys in constant rotation, so the wear is not from constant use.Otherwise, it is a very entertaining toy, especially for a younger audience, but just as likely to captivate the adults.

2yo grandson loved it!
I ordered it early so I would have plenty of time to check for defects. There were none. Our just-turned-2yo grandson absolutely loves it! At first he didn’t know how to hammer the balls through, but pushed them through, but still was having a grand time with it. My daughter showed him how to use the hammer, and boy, his face when he first got one through that way! He was so excited! It is a noisy toy to be sure, but I cleared it with my daughter before buying, ha.

Good Idea but Difficult for Little Ones
I like the toy but it is hard to hammer the balls through the holes – even for and adult! I had to hammer the balls so hard that some of them have cracks in them.

Bought this sight unseen for a 10 month old grandbaby living far away. Mom has assured me it is a favorite toy, well made and a go-to item! Feels there is a good progression of skills to develop with ball drop, hammering, and whatever else baby comes up with.
