The best scratching post I’ve ever bought!
My cat, Lily, was quite interested as she watched me assemble it. It was easy, even for a senior cat lady. When I was done, she was right there to check it out. She’d rub against the hard plastic bristles, then come rub against me as a thank you. Then back to the tree and back to me. It was quite heartwarming. This tree is sturdy and well-made. Palm leaves are large and a pretty dark green. This looked nice enough to put in my living room so that’s where it went.

It is so cute and my cats love it
It is really a cute and great nail scratcher for my 2 cats. However, the cover on the base is thin and already has tears in it. I wish it was a heavier covering for what I paid for it. I am going to g to keep it for Louie and Lilly!

My two cats give this a five paw rating
This is my third cat scratching post all different brands and my cats love it regardless. I have two cats. One male and one female and they use the post several times a day and love to hanging ball to play with. So overall, I really like this design and was pleased that that folded bottom had a cross bar to support the two base sides. The model I ordered before didn’t have this and it was a pain to assemble. So kudos for including that little detail. As a result, the assembly was very quick and easy.In general, scratching posts are really helpful in giving my cats a place to scratch and it does entertain enough that they don’t go after my furniture or walls. What a relief! Overall, I give the design, materials used, and height five stars with the only exception being the cord to hanging ball is very thin and won’t last a week with my cats. This must be improved upon or you will hear from my cats and they are determined to have that toy to play with for a very long time. The price is reasonable for this item, but I wish the designers would consider making it possible to order replacement sections for the scratching polls where they are interchangeable and maybe have a clam shell design to clasp together to secure them on the poll. I say this believing customers would all flock to this design of this type rather than replacing the whole item. I think others might share this wish as well because I’m not a fan the cost to replace the whole item and may not do so just on principle.Would I buy again…. probably, but it will depend on how long this one lasts.

Could use thicker rope, but still a good scratching post
It’s a pretty tall scratching post (over 30″ — I don’t count the leaves). And it looks fairly nice (for a scratching post) as well. What I like:* Relatively easy to set up, though the instructions are of limited help. I do like the blurb “Please read all instructions” where the actual assembly instructions have no words.* Cats were drawn to it right away. The one started scratching while I was working on the last step. What I think could use improvement:* It’s relatively thin cord. My one cat is capable of cutting through metal (ok, maybe not, but she does have really sharp claws). The post won’t last long with her.* I’m not a fan of “folded base” shipping. It’s a trend I’ve noticed that they cut the base in half, and it’s folded over using the carpet material. You then add a brace to hold it open. Since this has only one brace in the middle, the base is a little flimsy. They do claim to have a more robust base than their competition — add two braces, and I might buy that claim.Scratching posts are not a lifetime investment, cats make sure they have a limited life. I would still like to see a thicker cord, and two supports for the base. But the cats don’t care, they’re happy with it now.

My cat absolutely loves it: can’t argue with that
The design looks a little bit clunky, I like the leaves on top, I wish they were of darker green color though. Apparently my opinion doesn’t matter as my cat loves it and she started scratching it and playing with the ball right away I assembled it. After 2 weeks it still looks good. I love to see that and it’s a great gift for any cat.

Perfect nice made cat scratching post
This scratching post assembled easily. The only tool you need (a hex tool) is in the box. The overall post is strong and sturdy. It screws together and doesn’t tip over easily. I also like that everything is screwed together, not just a peg-in-hole design. I can pick it up by the post and move it around without it falling apart. My cats, as expected, ignored it for about 24 hours after I set it up. After that I did notice them using it frequently — mainly the green scratchy part near the bottom. They don’t seem too interested in the attached toy, time will tell if that ever gets used.

Kitty approved
The MeowHomm Cat Scratching Post, Cat Monstera Deliciosa for Indoor Cats with Natural Sisal Scratch Pole is a huge hit. Kitty was helping me assemble it right out of the box. He had the bottom part of the post on the floor faster than I could set up the base. As soon as I did, he was dragging the top section with the ball around. He’s loving the plant parts on top, which my plants are thrilled about getting a bapping break. It’s nice and tall, as well. It’s perfect for my little jumper. There’s entry of tactile surfaces for his mouth and the scratching surface is nice and big.He hasn’t stopped playing with it.A huge hit

Like way cooler than a plain scratching post
I love when cat furniture can be incorporated into decor! This tree with realistic artifical leaves is so much cuter than a basic scratching post. It was easy to build (don’t forget to put the brace underneath before screwing in the post. My cats first looked at it and went to their old post to scratch. Once they got that out of their system they started sniffing the new one and scratching. My bigger cat definitely likes that this is taller than their old one. Neither cat has used the thing at the bottom for their face or body but that was just a bonus for me anyway. I love it!
