PERFECT for what I need
I just purchased a new refrigerator where the ice dispenser is not at the door, but ice actually is automatically dumped into an ice bucket in the freezer. I keep this scooper outside and next to the icebox in the freezer, and it works perfectly. Its the perfect size to easily fill a glass, mug or thermos without spilling any cubes. I was debating on getting a plastic scooper or a metal scooper and read the metal is much better because its easier to clean, dishwasher safe, and scratches on the plastic scooper could cause bacteria or other things to grow.

It’s an ice scoop. It scoops ice. It seems to do that just fine. Built out of metal so color fade shouldn’t be an issue. It’s sturdy and ice doesn’t seems to stick to it. It’s an ice scoop.

Works Great for Scooping Ice, but gets a little chilly
I bought this metal ice scoop when I found out that my new fridge has an ice bucket instead of a dispenser. I didn’t want my family members and guests sticking their hands in all of the ice, so this worked great as a solution. It’s durable, has a sleek metallic design, and has a nifty hook on the end if you want to hang it up when not in use. The only flaw that I’ve noticed is that it gets quite cold sitting in our freezer, and is often a little uncomfortable to hold because of that. This isn’t too big of an issue because you’re never really holding it for longer than a few seconds. Aside from that, I’ve overall been satisfied with this ice scoop, and I would recommend it!

Perfect for ice maker in fridge
I got the 6oz size, which is exactly the right size for a normal ice bin for the icemaker inside a regular fridge (I’ve had access to 3 different fridges in the past 6 years – this 6oz scoop would be the right size choice for all of them). Looks good, fits correctly in my hand, an holds a decent amount of ice cubes (no too many, not too few), and the price definitely did not break the bank.

This scoop is ridiculously overpriced for the quality and what it is. Wanted to return dud to ice maker being faulty and it was going to cost me almost as much to return as it cost to purchase. Itâs super lightweight and would cost very little in postage to return. A wrought right here.
