High-quality, sleek pet placement for an excellent price! The navy placemats are a true navy color and have a cute, textured paw-print pattern to give bowls extra traction. Placemats are a generous size and contain spills and dribbles, and are easy to clean up quickly. Great, but…
This mat is a great option for keeping the floor under dog bowls clean/protected. I purchased the 24″x16″ option which is sufficient for two large dog bowls and plenty of room still to catch spills. A low lip provides a little added protection should there be a small water spill/splash. Overall, these mats do the trick, HOWEVER, I really wish it came smooth, without the raised paw print pattern. This makes wiping up messes sometimes impossible, because food splatter gets stuck to the ridges. This means the whole (large & floppy) mat needs to get picked up, washed and hung to dry before putting it back down. I’d much prefer it were smooth, so it could simply be wiped clean for a quicker clean up.

A great find and a great surprise
I have purchased several little pet mats for my dogs and cats through the years and most have had deeper lips and worked pretty well, although some have scooted around as they had no suction on the back at all. I was a little skeptical about this possibly sliding around under my dogs’ water bowl and causing more of a water splash everywhere, but this is not the case! My growing large breed puppy has not even tried to scoot this pretty little mat and I chose the aqua to match some things in my kitchen and it is so pretty, unexpected and cheerful sitting there with their water bowl! Highly recommend. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how functional this thin, cute little mat is. Stays in place well and looks good every day, just have to wipe up a few drips and possibly a piece of a leaf or grass along a bottom corner sometimes.
