So easy! Picky red heeler-approved!
I bought this I when we first brought home our rescue at the end of July. She is a 22 month old red heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix. We wanted to wash the rescue smells off of her and she also seems to get a little irritated/itchy from the grass and things outside. The itching seems to have improved, although it’s also possible the itching was just new home nerves. We’ve had her for about a month now and I give her a bath with this almost every week before I brush her out. She can be skittish about some things but doesnt mind this at all! I am positive she wouldn’t tolerate an actual water bath, and considering she wont let anyone trim her nails and can be very nippy, a real bath would be a nightmare. She recently started hunting for lizards in dirt piles on our walks (video attached – not shown: Hartley literally belly flopping into the dirt to pin down a tiny lizard), so she can get VERY dirty. I wiper her down with some Poggi hypoallergenic dog wipes and then use this and the result is great! Only after she is clean is she allowed on the bed (clean pic also attached). The scent lasts about a day, maybe less, on her and we go for walks at least 4 times a day (not all of them involve dirt piles, thankfully lol). The scent reminds me of something i cant quite put my finger on, but it works! It doesn’t irritate me and I can be very sensitive to certain smells. I would recommend this to most dog owners, especially to those who would find it hard to give their dog a water bath. Our dog basically thinks its a fun petting/massage session. Sometimes it can seem a tiny bit sticky but usually if I brush her out it does not feel that way anymore

This works good for a little bit . Makes your dog smell good and soothes its skin . Definitely helps with itchy skin . Would recommend this product. On those cold days when you don’t want to wash your dog in the tub 😉😊👍

Better than expected
My dog has a lot of fur and hates baths and water in general and has since I adopted her. I got this as a way to extend times between grooms. It obviously doesn’t replace a full bath, but it’s not terrible. It takes a bit more than I was expecting and it seems to leave some sort of residue directly on her fur. I’ve found that using this, then wiping her down with a wet wash cloth gets rid of the residue. The biggest problem is the smell, though. It smells good, but it’s very strong; enough that my dog doesn’t like it and tries to escape when I pull it out. It reminds me of Ivory soap, honestly. Overall useful, but wish the scent wasn’t as strong and there wasn’t a residue.

My 14 year old, 70 lb. flat-coated retriever is very arthritic (so no getting him into the tub anymore) and all of a sudden is dealing with some incontinence. He’s never been a dog that needed tons of bathing, thankfully, but now has a bit more of a need because of the incontinence. A full bath for him, soaking wet, is a HUGE pain because his coat is so thick so it takes 50 rinses to get all the soap out and two days to dry without a blow dryer.So recently when I was trying to figure out how to keep him from stinking of pee WITHOUT giving him a full bath every few days, I found this. I bought a pair of grooming gloves also and just brush and scrub this into his fur and amazingly he doesn’t smell. Since he’s not soaking wet the dry time is only an hour or two max, and the process is fairly easy. Putting him through the stress of getting in and out of the tub, having him stand on his weak back legs throughout the bath, and then blow drying him is just not something I want to do often as he’s in the twilight of his life and unless absolutely necessary, I don’t want him to be uncomfortable for that long.I like that this has limited ingredients (as I’m mostly using it in a sensitive area of his body) and is an easy to work with foam. It’s not runny at all, doesn’t make a big mess, and keeps my poor old guy from smelling like urine. Not sure how it works, but it does.

I bought this bc our Shepard is very difficult to bathe especially in winter and spends most of his days outside. Read up and decided to give this one a shot it had the best reviews. It did not disappoint. It took a decent amount as he’s extremely large (120lbs) and fluffy. It Left him looking shiny and clean and smelling much fresher! Would def recommend this to anyone looking for a dry shampoo for their dog in between baths. Life saver. Wonderful product!
