best bowl ever and here is why………
As usual, Mighty Paws comes through again with yet another winning product.I love that it is made of food grade silicone, it’s reversible and therefore easy to clean. It provides endless stimulation for my elderly dog. He now is able to spend time savoring his food, licking every last drop and then some. Watching him brings me such joy as I believe it does him . ( this is perfect for any age dog, though, and wish I found them sooner.) We use the bowl everything he loves : his yogurt as his snack, his main meals , his bone broth and water drinks. All dogs deserve this bowl

Multiple ways to use!
I purchased this to help with dog snacking, anxiety and training. I like the shape of the bowl with allows you to quickly prop it up in the freezer for a cooling treat without liquid spilling out. I tend to load all the sides with a variety of options from dog friendly peanut butter, frozen broth, smashed banana slices, dog friendly applesauce, and other dog friendly options. If immediately loading with out chilling itâs smash, spread and go. If chilling 15 mins. 6 month old GSD heavy chewer and havenât seen a single puncture mark in the bowl so itâs sturdy. Value for money absolutely worth it. I love that when I can see my pup is nearly done I flip it inside out so heâs able to lick away anything remaining. Cleaning is a breeze add to your sink wash, wash like any other item, pop into dishwasher. Easy to fill, clean and allows you a bit of peace while the pup is enjoying a snack.*Note* This bowl has depth to it making it perfect for feeding/watering. Please do not attempt to fill the bowl with treats as they should be given in moderation.

Slows down treat time
We really like this but wish there were more of the bigger sized “holes”. I typically use this with a mixture of sardine and low fat kefir. Sometimes I put it in the freezer for about half an hour before giving, and other times I just give it as-is. My favorite part about this is that it is dishwasher safe! It is too hard to get all the spaces clean by hand. The suction cups on the bottom work good, as well.

nice enrichment item for those that dont seek to destroy, use as bowl OR dome for added interest
My dogs dont seek to destroy, so they can handle lick mats and this bowl just fine. As with anything, use under supervision, and make sure that they are licking at it only. If your dog is a chewer, then why would ya think that a piece of silicone is going to hold up to a determined destroyer? You might want to find a piece of thick rubber or steel instead. Then worse, I see pics here of dogs playing with this (tug of war), and then they give it a terrible review for not holding up. It isn’t a toy! smhSame material and thickness of other lick mats. Can be used in the shape of a bowl, or in the shape of a dome. The shape of this adds a little extra challenge and interest over the typical flat (we like those too!).Load it up with some num nums, then watch your dog to see how they do. Start to bite? Then redirect or take away.I have two large labs, and they enjoy a little whipped cream, ice cream, or wet dog food smeared inside. If your dog is new to this and/or is prone to chewing stuff then be doubly sure to pay attention to how they are working this. My girl will work on a treat toy until all essence of the food item is gone. My boy is not as enticed by food stuff, so he will do some lazy licks and easily leave traces of food behind. I think he does best with the flat lick mats as he can press his tongue down and get the food easier. The bowl or dome take a little more work, which is great for my girl.MightPaw is out of Rochester NY, which is more or less my neck of the woods. Didnt know that until I came back to review this. Neat!

It was difficult for small dog to use
**Update** The company takes feedback seriously and offered us a full refund, that’s a company that obviously makes an effort for customer satisfaction and we appreciate it. We will consider their other products because of this and recommend larger dogs try this product, at least you know you have a money-back guarantee! The bowl is sturdy although did wobble some, but the interior made it difficult for my small dog to get the food. We use wet food and it’s great to slow them down but the grid design is tight and small and he got frustrated after awhile and I think his tongue got tired poor guy. It will slow a dog down or distract them for awhile but for regular feeding, it didn’t work for us.

BEST TOY EVER
My sweet 15 pound Cavalier King Charles Spaniel can tear apart a tough toy in 4 minutes, then they becomes unsafe for her as she will swallow the chewed pieces. This Lick Bowl has survived 2 weeks and looks new. I smear it with peanut butter, yogurt, avocado, canned mandarin orange, pretty much anything she can eat that can be smeared. And then I freeze it over night. Keeps her busy for hours as she will go back to it and work on the bits left in the grooves. I use it with rough side out or in for variety. It has been used every day for 2 weeks, washed in the dishwasher twice with no signs of damage or discoloration and does not have any teeth marks or tears. She brings it when she greets me at the door after work. It is my favorite toy for her. pretty sure it’s her favorite too.

Slow feeding that is easy on the teeth
Our rescue mutt has one true love: kibble. He needs it in his belly ASAP. We got him a traditional slow feeder and instead of delicately working the puzzle, he just went ham and chose violence instead of problem solving. Our boy is not food aggressive, we can reach in any time and he will back off, but the amount of energy expended on getting that kibble out of the bowl and into his jaws is ridiculous. Imagine our suprise when we took him to the vet for a normal check up and all his canine teeth were chipped. What a dummy! We tried to use a snuffle mat and it definitely worked but it gets so disgusting after each use that we had to scrap that idea since we can’t wash and dry the mat twice a day. Next I found this silicone slow feeder, and we gave that a shot. INSTANT success. Because the grooves are squishy, he will pause when he feels them instead of just powering through, meaning he is actually slowing down. It’s super easy to rinse out or toss in the dishwasher. We don’t use it inside another dog bowl because it’s pretty sturdy as is. Our dolt of a dog, and his teeth, are very happy with the upgrade.

I have two busy brained dogs (a Belgian and an Australian Shepherd) so I’m always looking for ways to keep them entertained for more than 5 minutes at a time. These definitely qualify. I thought they were a little small when they arrived, but they hold quite a bit and are enough to keep my dogs happily distracted for about as long as a Kong would. My Belgian took all of two seconds to figure out how to pull the mat off the floor, but we haven’t had any problem with the dogs trying to chew on them. They’re also really easy to clean, which I appreciate. Will definitely be picking up more of them.

Bought this for a small dog with itching issues. She will just sit somewhere and lick herself till raw or literally lick the air until you get sick of hearing her lick nothing. Anyway, this keeps her busy and she actually enjoys it. Leaves it and comes back to it. Great quality, will last a long time. Saw someone mention to freeze this with peanut butter. Works great, but its large so takes a lot of space in the freezer

A mis perritas les funcionó bien para que la comida de sobre les dure más tiempo y puedan entretenerse. Primero compré uno para ver que tal funcionaba, y ahora ya tengo dos! 🙂

Our dog has had a severe problem eating to quickly from a pup, this has helped alot to slow her down. She’s a midsize Shepard cross I thought the product was maybe to small but it works good we only feed a cup and a half of food and it would probly fit nearly 3 cups.Product is easily washable in dishwasher and durable so far.

Claro que funciona, solo trata de no dejarlo al alcance de perros con mordida fuerte.
