No batteries require. Crazy mouse like fuzzy tail keeps my cat hunt for it. He loves it. The only bad thing I have to say is that it doesnât work well on carpet.

Doesn’t do the job
As others mentioned it gets stuck on everything. I have hard wood floor and thought it would be great but you can’t have any other items around because it just get stuck and spins

Don’t buy if you want it to work on carpet.
This toy is great on flooring but does not work on low pile carpet so everywhere my floor meets the carpet it stops working.

Tail Broke Off In 45 Minutes
My cat loved this toy, but it broke in the first hour of play. This came with the tail already attached and still came off. After careful sweeping with broom could not find the attachment. Even without the tail she would played with it, but on day 2 won’t hold a charge.

Gets stuck a lot
If you plan on getting a toy like this, I suggest you have a lot of space and no area rugs because it will get stuck on them often. Assuming your act is actually playing with it, this maybe not be a problem as they’ll swat them off the carpet eventually, but our house has too many thick area rugs for this to be a good toy.That’s not to say it’s NOT a good toy. It charges via USB-C and lasts a while. It just requires a lot of room as it can really zip around.

My cat loves this toy, because she likes to chase it through her tunnel. It is easily charged like a phone, so you so not have to buy batteries. It is well made and very durable.

My perfect automatic toy!
Not very loud, soft and tempting tail, and it works for MULTIPLE nights. I like to set up toys for my cats at night so I can get a good sleep in and this has become my new favorite. Yes, you’ll hear it thump into things from time to time but nothing major and once you’re a room away it’s not an issue. Even in the same room it’s minor. The fact that when it idles it isn’t completely draining it’s own battery feels like a miracle to me after all the other toys I’ve tried.Will it work for everyone? No way. Cats are fussy and it definitely excels on hard floors. But it’s well worth the price of admission in my book and a favorite for myself and the cats!

I got this for my daughter and we tried this on a hard floor and while it worked it had moments where sometimes the wheels just span. Then it hits a wall or corner and gets stuck, there’s no sensor i so lacks the ability to change path. Then I tried it on the carpet and it just span the wheels and didn’t move at all. Its certainly not worth the money.

It is a bit to mechanical and my cats could not get used to it. It is also super fast, a bit to fast. My nephews were more interested, played with it, and now i cant find it anymore.
