I’m an interior designer and I just had a sofabed made to order by my upholsterer. I purchased this to put inside, rather than using the cheap ones that come with the mechanism and I’m so glad I did! Best mattress for a sofa bed that I’ve tried.
This mattress would appeal to the widest set of people. Feels like a springy futon. It folds easily into the sofa and doesn’t need a topper unless you like more of a plush feel. It’s as good as it gets in a sofa sleeper sitch.

This mattress fits perfectly in my teardrop trailer, and Iâve slept on it dozens of times since purchasing it 1.5 years ago. Itâs really a phenomenal value; we sleep even better in the trailer than we do in the actual bed. Itâs a bit firm, so I recently added a thin layer of foam on top, but itâs been more than adequate by itself. I would absolutely buy it for a sofa bed or anywhere else.

We’ve suffered with the old spring mattress on our couch that’s probably 15 years old, so when I saw this replacement mattress on Amazon for 1/2 the cost of other online sites, I was pretty happy. It took me so long to even think to search for these things, but here I am.I just received it and set it up today. I bought the Full, so the measurements were supposed to be 73″ x 52″ x 4.5″. As for length/width, it was fine and measures about 72.5″ x 52.5″… slightly wider and slightly less tall than it’s supposed to be, but that little bit of difference doesn’t matter.As for the height, this has an identity problem. Some places it says it’s supposed to be 3.5″, but on the Amazon listing it says 4.5″. Mine measures right around 4″ tall, and that’s right out of the box. It says you need to leave it set up to breathe for about 24-48 hours, but I don’t think it’s going to grow another 1/2″. It is absolutely fine the way it is though. Granted, I’m not a big guy but I laid down on it and couldn’t feel anything – best of all no springs!!Note, if you’re expecting it to look like it does set up in the picture, that’s not going to happen. To me it looks like the mattress in that photo is 6″ or more – not 4.5″ like it states. I don’t even know how you would fold it if it was that big.Overall, this is a great replacement mattress, especially for the price. it is more comfortable than the old one and also pics up the cushions when folded so the couch doesn’t sag as much. Would definitely buy this again.

We needed to replace the mattres on our sofa sleeper but where to find one. We needed a queen size/ We searched all the stores and where I had seen onr at our Sleep Country store they had now discontinued them. We were recomesnded to another store but they did not appear to have them either.So we ca,me to Amazon, they did not have a huge selection but the one we chose had a 4.5 inch mattress which was excactly the right sixe for the bed. When it was delivered we were very pleased with the look of the mattress. It had a cover on it that was waterproof and it looked as if it was very sturdy. The first to try it were our two granddaughterss who said it was fine. Thank you Amazon.
