After the first wash it smelled soooo much less. Note when dog gets wet it will smell awful but this shampoo works amazing for skunk smell.

Works well on skunk order
My dog met his first skunk in the middle of the night. I brought Nature’s Miracle Skunk Order Control Shampoo and it worked pretty well. I found that if I applied it to dry fur first, it helped. The skunk oil is reactivated by water so having a good lather of shampoo before getting him wet really seemed to help. The shampoo has a clean scent and after two baths there was a huge improvement.

Arrived with the cap broken, dog still stinks.
I was unimpressed with the way the bottle arrived, in a bubble envelope and the cap broken. Luckily the bottle hadn’t been squeezed or there would have been a big mess. My dog had been sprayed by a skunk earlier and had been bathed with regular shampoo, so still stunk. I have used Nature’s Miracle products in the past and have always found them to work as advertised. This shampoo is a letdown. I know it says the longer it sits on the dog, the better it works, but come on. Not many dogs will just stand around covered in shampoo for five minutes. So, we put the shampoo on and let it sit while we waited for warm water then washed and rinsed. Unfortunately, the dog still has the smell of skunk, especially when he gets wet or baths himself. Guess I’ll have to look for a different product since the dog gets sprayed by skunks all too often.

We went to order the older formula that was good for both dog and furniture and this is the replacement product. Our dog hides and doesn’t want to shower so this is useless unless we can get him in the shower. I miss the older product.
