Our Go-to Doggie Shampoo
Since purchasing Nature’s Specialties Dog Shampoo a couple of years ago, we havenât looked back. Our dog, unfortunately, has allergies and gets itchy, especially during certain times of the year. While heâs on a year-round prescription from the vet, we hate boosting his meds when allergies flare up. Instead, we bathe him using Nature’s Specialties Shampoo, which has been a game changer. Like most dogs, he hates baths, but when he gets really itchy, it seems he almost doesnât mind them. Itâs clear he gets immediate relief after a bath.As a bonus, he smells wonderful afterward. The scent is fresh and not overly perfumed, and it lasts well. This isnât great news for our dog, who then goes out into the yard and rolls in the grass trying to “smell like a real dog again.” The shampoo is concentrated, so you dilute it before use, meaning a little goes a long way, making the price great If your dog is as itchy as ours, you can suds him up and leave it on for around 10 minutes. While itâs always fun to try and keep him still for that long, the efforts are worth it because it truly helps him feel much better. It really is âQuick Reliefâ as the name states.

Great for itchy skin!
I’ve been using Nature’s Specialties products for nearly 20 years, but I had never used the Quick Relief Neem Shampoo before. I tried other well-known brands, but they didn’t seem to help my dog’s itching. Then I remembered Neem! Why didn’t I try it sooner?! It’s been very beneficial for my lab/golden cross, reducing her body itching and chewing of her paws. I really appreciate how well it works even when diluted. I always dilute it to make it last longer, and it’s a great way to ensure you get all the shampoo rinsed out. I’m not really sure how to describe the fragrance; it’s not powdery, fruity, or floral like so many pet shampoos. It’s a clean scent with a hint of something else that I can’t quite pinpoint. It’s not my favorite scent, but it’s not overpowering so I am happy to keep using it to keep my girl comfortable.

IF YOU HAVE DOGS THIS IS THE SHAMPOO YOU WANT TO USE.
I THINK THIS IS THE BEST DOG SHAMPOO ON THE MARKET. IT MAKES THEM SMELL GOOD AND GETS RID OF FLEES. YOU CAN USE IT STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE OR YOU CAN DILUTE IT TO MAKE A LARGER BATCH. I PREFER STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOTTLE FOR MY ANIMALS.

Best anti itch shampoo ever!
LOVE this stuff! My dog will smell fresh and clean for longer than a week! Iâve used shampoo for the last 6 years. I started using it back in 2017 because my shih tzu had yeast issues and sensitive skin. Used it on my lab and he always smelt amazing even after swimming in the lake. I now have a golden doodle which Iâve been told they tend to have sensitive skin, so Iâm hoping it will be great for him as well. Itâs a strong mint smell which some may not like but to me it smells clean. I think I was doing it wrong when I first got it. I would wet my dog then rub the shampoo in. Apparently youâre supposed to apply direct or dilute it then massage it in, wait five minutes, really lather and then wait another five minutes before rinsing it all out.

Long lasting scent
I bought this due to my dogs skin sensitivities and stinky coat. Seems to reduce itching a little bit but nothing substantial but the biggest thing it helped was it made my dogs coats smell great and for a long time. None of the previous shampoos had done that.

Comfort for skin issues
This is my favourite relief for caring for uncomfortable dogs. You must follow up with conditioner though.

Overpowering smell, and didn’t seem to help with itchies
Thought I’d try this instead of my dogs medicated shampoo as I’d read good reviews. Did not seem to help with the itchiness at all so dog gave it one star. I’m giving it zero stars because it has the strongest, most overwhelming wintergreen scent it literally turns my stomach. If you like wintergreen, give it a shot. FYI, wintergreen oil is toxic for dogs, not sure what provides the scent in the shampoo.
