NOT PORTABLE
Iâm very disappointed with how this is advertised. IT IS NOT PORTABLE! IT MUST BE PLUGGED IN TO THE WALL OR CAR TO USE IT. You can by a battery cell and an adapter and THEN use it as a portable blanket . But it does not come with the battery pack and adapter. Even though itâs advertised as portable. I even asked this question in the question section at which I was lied to and it said one was included. It absolutely does not come with one. The blanket is warm and comfortable and a good idea but very disappointed it not portable which is why I bought it. Will be returning.

Not exactly portable, but as cozy as you’d imagine
I didn’t think it through when ordering this–the fact that it doesn’t come with a portable battery pack for outdoor use. I was thinking it would be nice to use for attending cold weather high school football games. So after searching Amazon for what would be needed to make it portable, it seems to me (and I could be wrong) that you’d need a USB to DC power cord in order to use a power bank, which equates to 2 more expenses. Bummer. And I wouldn’t even know whether that works until after I purchase–a total gamble. Well, it provides warmth while sitting near a DC outlet, anyway. I think where this would come in handiest is on trips, plugged into the cig lighter. For the passenger, of course, as the heat might put the driver to sleep! I don’t feel much difference between highest and lowest setting, I have to say but, in either case, it’s plenty for indoors. It feels uncomfortable snapped up on this larger person. I’d say this is for an average or small person if you plan to ‘wear’ it. It’s kind of heavy, but the fabric is heavenly! SO soft on both sides. I’m going to gift it to a small elderly woman who I think will love it.

Updated after 10-month–The blanket stopped working. We used the blanket in Jan and Feb then store it as the weather is warmer. Re-use it in Nov and Dec as weather is colder. However it stopped working few weeks ago and no more heating function available.================================This heating blanket is very soft and comfortable to use. There are also two openings for arms to put through so it could be wore as a light jacket. The power connector is in a pocket so it takes time to find where it is; and there are AC power plug and car plug included for different occasions.The heating pad is not big though, so would be just good for area heat up instead of whole body.

Nice for travel / road trips
The blanket is about normal size for a one adult person throw blanket. The heated part is over 1/3 part of the blanket, not the entire blanket. It came with a regular plug and a car plug for power. You can drape it around you like a cape and it would heat around your shoulders and back. It has arm holes and pockets on each side, and snaps so you can snap the front closed and freely use your arms while the blanket would stay on like a cape. Or just use as a regular blanket. It folds down into a pillow and zips closed. The power button is on the outside of the pillow when zipped up so you can also use as a heated pillow. It is like a medium grey color soft fleece on the outer side, and a cream colored sherpa type fabric on the inside. I plan to keep this in my suv for road trips and also for emergencies in the winter. It is a plus that it zips up into the pillow so it keeps it nice and tidy to store in the vehicle when not in use. I just put the cords inside the zippered area so they wont get lost.

works well but needs longer cords
The blanket warms up quickly, is very soft and comfortable to use while lounging. It also makes for a good pillow when all zipped up. However the cords are not nearly long enough. The cord attaches inside the pocket and in order for me to actually wear it I have to sit in the corner of my couch closest to the outlet and can’t move without worrying it will come unplugged. The zipper is plastic and seems fairly cheap; I worry it will break making it impossible to zip back up into pillow form.

So warm!
This blanket is so warm! I love you can still me mobile while wearing it. It didnât seem to hold a charge real long but it lasted long enough. That could have been because of the setting I chose. It is also so soft!
