Attractive, space saving, food storage solution!
I LOVE this food dish! If you have a large dog, it’s the best option for small spaces, no additional storage option or you just don’t want to look at a separate ugly storage container. It holds a 25 pound bag of food with another 10 pounds to spare!The quality of workmanship is worth every penny! After seeing the reviews on the lid, I was apprehensive. But there’s a trick! You have to pull up very slightly on the lid when you first go to pull it out and it’s perfect. The lid slides smoothly where even if there is water in the dish, it doesn’t spill. I also love how you can operate it with one hand.The instructions are easy to follow and it was put together in 10 minutes. The wood is thick and coated which will make it extremely easy to clean.The liner that comes with it is heavy duty and works like a ziploc bag. It isn’t a requirement to have it inside the container but it helps to keep down on the crumbs from the food. The slide is not a very good quality as it came right off as we unzipped it and would not stay on after multiple attempts to reattach it. This was not a deal breaker by any means, as it just makes it easier and quicker to access the food.The stainless steel bowls are thick and sit on a rubber opening to prevent leakage.The style seems as it would go with any decor from rustic to modern. I have already recommended this to other dog families I know! It is a MUST HAVE!

Nice design, not great food storage
We purchased this for our golden retriever. The feeder is a good height for him. I love the concept and it looks very nice in our kitchen where his bowls are. I like the elevated feeder, and that this one actually uses its height to your advantage by having the storage. My 16 yr old son had no problem putting it together. The top slides open just fine for us. Even with a bowl of water (not full), as long as you slide it slowly, the water doesn’t slosh out. The only compliant is with the large storage bag. It only took a couple days before the bag was torn and the zip top came off. If you open the bag very slowly, the zipper will stay in tact, but if you’re in a hurry, forget it. I’m looking for a replacement bag now. Overall, I really do like the design and the function is great, just wish the bag was sturdier.Update: found replacement bags that work!! The Ziplock ‘big bags’ XL size that are advertised for things like sporting equipment, helmets, etc . Work great!! I think there are 4 to a box for $6! We replaced the original bag with one of those and it fits and works perfectly! Those bags are more heavy duty, seal closed and keep his food fresh and are the perfect size!

Great Concept, Poor Design
Like many other reviewers on here, I loved the idea of this diner. The space below the food/water bowls seems like such a lost opportunity for other diners that only offer a frame. The storage capacity is large; the diner is attractive; the material is easy to clean and doesn’t absorb water like other wooden or particleboard diners.However, the construction is lacking. It has a basic tongue-and-groove assembly which makes putting it together a breeze, but the top tray that is supposed to “slide” out doesn’t move easily at all. It’s jerky and you have to jiggle it around to get it to move. That means that water bowls more than half full will slosh around, creating a mess. It also puts a serious damper on the convenience of the storage bin. If you’re using the storage for infrequently-used items, then it’s not a big deal. But if you’re using it for food or something else you might need to access on a daily basis, you’re going to be frustrated.

The product was easy to assemble, it was very clearly laid out in the instructions. It came with a storage bag that you can hold a decent amount of food in it. The storage box can hold a lot within it as well. Everything lines up on the mechanical side of it. The raised feeding tray is good for digestion and easy access for my American Bulldog. It’s very sturdy and easy to access, it’s very easy to clean after he’s done eating or drinking water. One downside is that the water bowl and the feeding bowl are on the smaller side. Not so much of an issue for the feeding but if your dog drinks a lot of water like mine you’re going to be filling it up more often then a larger bowl. But that’s really insignificant when you’re looking at the functionality of the product itself. It matches my Decour in the house in the kitchen. Overall so far it’s been a great investment and I’ll keep you updated on how everything else goes with it over time.

The product arrived on time and VERY well packed. Great quality materials, sturdy, strong and easy to clean. We are very happy with the hight of it (we do have a tall dog) and our dog is even happier with it! Great storage space, fits the food bucket and brushes and bones.We had some concerns with the sliding top door but Customer Service was on top of the concerns and manage to solve it very quickly with a great response time.Highly recommended!!!

We got this as we wanted something tall and stable for our huge greyhound mix. Ours cats kept knocking over his last one when they tried to drink out of it (even though their bowl is on the floor right next to it…). This one is solid and its not going anywhere! Would give 5 stars, but about 20% more expensive than it should be and getting into the storage isn’t easy, you really have to give it a kick, so I hope that loosens up over time, or at the very least is able to take being kicked on occasion haha.
