Love the slim design and performance
The clicker works extremely well, and I am loving the thin design compared to some other, more remote-like alternatives. This would fit easily in a pencil case or inside a backpack. Obviously, it is good for presentations, but I also think students could find uses for it in something like making digital flashcards. I have found that it is a bit difficult to get the USB receiver out of the clicker for me, but since it already comes with a drawstring pouch, I just keep the two pieces separate inside the bag.

Works very long distance as described
I bought this because the description said it worked up to 130 ft. I needed it to work from the pulpit all the way to the audio/visual control room at church, which is about 75 feet. It works beautifully. I have it connected to a Mac and using it for Propresenter7. It has two buttons for switching slides. Up and down. These can be changed to left to right by holding these buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.

I am presently teaching in a theater-like classroom. I needed a Keynote controller, for my MacBook Air, with a substantial range. I also needed a laser pointer which provided a very visible “dot” on a presentation screen located a pretty substantial distance away. This little device fits the bill on both counts. I was previously using a Kensington controller which worked well but lacked laser capabilities. I purchased a Kensington controller with a built in laser pointer and returned it within one day. The laser dot was so small that my students couldn’t see it – even from the front row. The only caveat with this device is that the enclosed instructions are a bit vague. Evidently, the default setting for this device is NOT for the Mac OS. After some experimentation, I learned that to instruct the device to speak the “language” on the Mac, you have to depress the forward and back keys simultaneously once. After that maneuver, the device works just fine. I cannot speak of the longevity of this device, but so far (one week) it has performed admirably.

After I used this for a presentation I was left wondering why anybody would need anything more expensive. It did what I needed it to do, plug and play right out of the box! Buttons have a great click that you can feel, but not hear (thatâs important), presentation slides responded immediately. Perfect size to hold, buttons are positioned nicely. The only reason to buy anything more expensive would be if you intend to physically show it off to your audience for some reason.

Best Remote Ever
Sounds kind of silly, but this is the best. We have a need where only a Bluetooth/radio remote presenter can work. The distance is around 200 feet and it works. Very little lag to what I’ve used before and the fact it works at this distance is amazing especially for the price.
