Great for training and traveling with a Weimaraner
I ordered this in preparation for a stay at an unfenced lakeside rental property with my Weimaraner. He is used to an acre+ fenced in yard and we wanted to make sure he still had some freedoms on the shared property, but that I had control when necessary. This fit the bill perfectly. While it was a bit clumsy, he and I even played a bit of fetch with him on the leash. I could also just sort of loop it in my hand to bring him closer AND, with the extra hook and ring, I was able to secure him to a tree while unloading and loading our vehicle. It is durable enough to keep my 70 pound goof in check and still allow him room to roam.

I got 2 of these, one for each of my dogs. I got them so they can explore as we walk the local parks. The grips are nice and soft. The leash is also nicely woven and lightweight.

To be fair, I forgot it. But itâs perfect for my precocious dog to lope on ahead, and itâs sturdy enough that he can feel my pressure messages. The leash will now need to be reordered because of my oversight. Perfect for my midsize dog, especially in reasonably rural areas where he can stretch his legs.

Broken after two months
The overall product was great at first, but the black plastic holding the hook that attaches to our dogâs vest already cracked and broke off. I would buy this product again if the ends of the rope were attached with sturdier material.

Last, quality, easy
It really works for my dog, an 85 lb yellow lab. Lasted all spring and summer, all of the fittings work, no knots, easy to coil.If I could only teach the dog not to wind it up around the tree.. that would be great.
