Life Savor!
I cannot express how much the Nylabone Chew & Treat Toy has transformed our lives with our energetic German Shepherd! If you have a dog, especially one as active as a German Shepherd, you know the struggle of keeping them entertained and happy. This toy has been a game-changer.Our pup absolutely adores this interactive chew and treat toy. He’s a voracious chewer, and we were constantly on the lookout for something that could keep him occupied without wreaking havoc on his stomach. This Nylabone toy fits the bill perfectly. The best part is the combination of both treats and a bone-like texture. Our pup usually devours treats in seconds, but this toy slows him down and keeps him engaged for a while. It’s like a puzzle for him, trying to figure out how to get the treats out. Plus, it’s not overly challenging, so he doesn’t get frustrated. What’s more, the material is durable enough to withstand his strong jaws and endless chewing, which is a big relief. No more worries about him tearing through things he shouldn’t be chewing on!One of the biggest concerns with dog treats and chews is their effect on the stomach, but with the Nylabone Chew & Treat Toy, we’ve seen a significant improvement. It’s much gentler on his digestive system compared to some other chews we’ve tried in the past, like bully sticks. In conclusion, this toy has been a lifesaver for both us and our beloved German Shepherd. It keeps him entertained, satisfies his natural urge to chew, and doesn’t upset his stomach. If you’re a dog owner, especially one with an enthusiastic chewer, I highly recommend giving this Nylabone Chew & Treat Toy a try. It’s worth every penny for the peace and happiness it brings to your furry friend and your home!

My little monster loves these
These are a favorite in our house. We have three in use, right now, because theyâre small and get temporarily misplaced frequently and itâs easier to toss a worn out one when a newer one is still available.Sometimes, the dog loses interest when the treat part is gnawed down to a sliver, but sometimes, he just chews on the plain side. Sometimes, he gets grumbly and possessive when he sees me take an empty one to refill it.I think the treat part is hard to insert, so I put it on a table and press the bone down over it until it pops into place. My boy is picky and will turn up his nose to treats that fail to meet his high standards. But, he seems to like these, and they last through multiple chew-sessions, so Iâm happy with them, too.The bone material is hard enough that it gives his gnawing urges a workout, but itâs not so hard that I worry heâll snap his little teeth off.I throw a lot of chew toys away after a seemingly short time. He chewed the face and feet off two Nylabone T-Rex power chews (another fave) in the same length of time that one of these bones was starting to look worn out. I think the treat helps extend the toyâs life by concentrating the gnawing on a replaceable part.In short, the dog loves it and it lasts longer than other chew toys (thanks, in part, to the refillable treat).

Keeps my dog entertained
Both the bone and the added treat are good. She enjoys it.

Great find. Challenging for my dog
This is great. My dog doesn’t give up on getting the 2 treats out! Impressed. It’s like giving them a stuffed treat ball – they have that same motivation plus spend more time working on it but you’re only giving them minimal treats.Recommend for aggressive chewers only! Because the bone is very hard and if your dog doesn’t have a strong jaw or strong teeth, etc this product would be harmful.

Go for it.
Like the option of putting in treats but itâs not as easy as advertised to put the treats in and then, of course, you can only use those treats to replace. Overall, a fine purchase.

My power chewers love these.
First, the down side: The hard filler treats that come with this are practically impossible to pound into place. The up side: Donât even worry about them because you can put peanut butter or cheese in the slots and the babies love it even after the cheese or peanut butter is long gone.I have super power chewers (Plott Hounds – which are bred to hunt bear, got it? Super jaw strength) and weeks later, these Nylabone treats are still going strong. Yes, these cost a pretty penny. For me, these are a way better value than buying lots of cheaper stuff that is torn to bits within a day or so.

Best chew treats ever – built for even a ridiculously strong chewer. WARNING: May break teeth.
Best chew treats ever – built for even a ridiculously strong chewer. My little Bentley, a miniature dachshund, is a VERY strong chewer. He can chew through supposedly âindestructibleâ toys within mere minutes, including the toughest Kong toys. He met his match with this nylabone and loves it. He even stood up to the Alpha female of the pack to protect it from becoming hers. Highly recommend.UPDATE: this broke my dogâs tooth, so we had to stop using. Both dogs are bummed to lose their favorite chew treat, but my wallet was ok with the decision after paying a very expensive dental surgery vet bill. It was tough to have to go through the experience with my 5 year old dog (who has otherwise very healthy teeth and gums), having the discomfort of a broken tooth (cracked down to the gum line) and recovering from the dental surgery. Soft foods for two weeks post-surgery was fun for her, though!
