My puppy LOVES this thing.
It’s one of his favorite teethers. He’s just over 5 months old, and all of his big doggy teeth are almost in and he still love this. At 50lb, he’s a big boy, and finding teethers big enough for him was hard, this one is the perfect size – the teethers I found are marketed based of the puppy’s weight at full size, which if it’s your first time owning a particular breed, or even worse if it’s a mutt, then how would you know that?? If your puppy is over 25lb and under maybe 65-70lb or so -as a puppy- this is a great toy. Even with his big adult teeth (and holy cow those things are big and sharp!) the only discernible damage is that the teeny little texture nubs are flattened and a little frayed. No tears, or chunks missing at all after over a month with it 24/7. We tried a variety of teeters, and he ended up having 2 favorites – this one is still for all day and all night use, and the other was a freezable one that’s a little softer, but once he had mostly adult teeth started showing more wear and tear and had to be taken away. The other thing I really like about this toy it that it’s good for training him not to bite US. While we play with him, we keep it on hand, and we can shove it in his mouth if he starts to nibble our hands or arms. ANOTHER great thing is that it’s big enough and shaped in a way that we can play tug of war with it. Just a really good toy overall, and the pup wholeheartedly agrees.

Won’t crack your dog’s teeth
My 80lb Pit Boxer mix loves them, and so do I. We spent $2500.00 on tooth extraction, after our 6 year old dog cracked two teeth chewing on antlers. He loves to chew, and loved antlers. Little did we know, they can crack their teeth on them. These pretzels are marketed for puppies, and for a puppy, they would probably last for months. My dog can destroy this in about a month of chewing, maybe an hour a day. which I think is a long time for a rubber chew to last. They are hard enough to last that long, but not too hard to crack his teeth, and the small bits he ingests, go right through him. I bought the blue one first, which he liked, but they are softer and don’t last as long as the pink ones do. These keep him occupied chewing without destroying his teeth.

All Dogs Love
I have purchased several of these over the years for all types of dogs – labs to St. Bernards to dachshunds – and they all love it! It is easy for the smaller dogs to chew and carry around, yet has the durability for the big time chewers like labs. Keep in mind this may not last as long as the heavy duty nylabone designed for lab type chewers but is longer lasting than other brands. This is the puppy one and nylabone does make a heavier duty one in the same shape for big time chewers. Love the pink color as it is easy to find and the flavor seems to be hit with all dogs. Thanks nylabone for being my go to chew toy for my furry friends for the past 25 years!

Not very durable
My dog loves chewing on this, and I love the unique shape. But right away the ânubsâ started coming off. Disappointed that itâs not more durable, and a bit worried about my dog ingesting tiny pieces of this thing. Will stick to K@*> brand in the future.

They last for a long time. My aussiedoodle loves it! When he starts whining about who knows what, I tell him to get his pretzel and it calms him down. I’ll keep buying them after they wear down.
