I got this because I was using a stainless steel spoon to scoop ice cream that was real hard. I was having trouble getting ice cream out. This works great! It gets a perfectly round scoop out. It’s heavy duty with a strong release mechanism. I highly recommend this product

Came with the head broken off.
As others have already mentioned, the head is only held on to the body by two tiny spot welds. They are weak, as mine came pre-broken, but whoever assembled it had just put the head in the body, so that it was held by the shoulder and the “tongue” bit that pushes out the ice cream. So the second you try to use it, it just falls off.
