What I should have bought the FIRST time…
This was not the first mattress I bought for camping in my Subaru Outback. The first one I bought was one of those blow-up air mattress types and it was horrible. Oh, it was fine at 4″ thickness…until a few short hours later it was dang near flat. I returned that sucker and after researching further and reading many others comments wound up buying this dual-type foam mattress. I am literally a “Happy Camper” now!When I first opened this tri-folding mattress from the boxes and wrappers, ya, it was < 3" thick, as expected. (Pic #1). While waiting for it to expand to its full thickness I unzipped a portion of one end to inspect the construction. Just as advertised with 1" blue memory + 3" yellow foam (Pic #2). After leaving it alone for several days the mattress expanded to its advertised thickness of 4" (Pic #3). Everyone just needs to be patient at the beginning.I really like the fact that it's tri-fold because it's light and easy to maneuver. Each section is 25" X 25" and stacks neatly together when not in use and is 12" tall overall.I then took it out to my Outback to check the fit making sure I had taken my measurements correctly. I folded down both rear seats, put a fitted flannel sheet around it, then laid it on in there. Fits like a glove at 75" long X 25" wide X 4" deep (Pic #4). Then put my sleeping bag on it and crawled on in for a dry run (Pic #5).I'm 6-ft tall and must say that it does, in fact, feel comfortable enough to keep and although I have not been out camping in it until this cold winter passes, believe that I can easily spend a few nights on the road with this setup. There are several road trips I have planned coming up and will give this mattress setup a real workout. I may come back to this review and update it later with details.Seems that this is the real deal, folks. I'm hopeful that we didn't go wrong by purchasing this well made foam mattress. C'Mon Spring time! YAY!!

Makes a PERFECT camp mattress.
I purchased my Olee tri-folding SINGLE mattress for use on my camp cot. It fits perfectly, and between the Teton Sports XXL cot and this Olee mattress I sleep every bit as well as I do at home! This could also be used for outdoor patio furniture as long as its not left in the rain!The goods:*Light weight and takes up less room because it folds in three.*Because they offer this item in a single size it also takes up less room than a traditional twin which is way to wide for camping.*The zippered cover is on the bottom and opens on two sides of each square. This makes removing the washable cover and putting it back on so much easier than the ones that only open on the end.*The cushion also has an interior protector. This can make the cushion easier to return to the cover after washing.*The foam is not just standard foam. Part of it is medium firmness foam but that is topped with gel foam. That makes it a nice soft sleeping surface.*The very bottom seems like a considerably durable material.The not-so-goods:*I don”t have any suggestions as of yet.

Good mattress, stupid zippers and little squished
I got the cot size, which is a great compact size. Got it for my 3 year old for when we travel and when he inevitably ends up sleeping on our floor several nights a week. I laid on it and itâs surprisingly comfy for some foam on the floor, but I still wouldnât want to sleep on it myself. My kid loves it, though. However, the zippers are not done well. I wanted to unzip the cover to let the foam expand and I had to cut the fabric where the zippers are covered to get to them. They also donât have pulls so I had to put a safety pin in all of them to get them to open. Then, one cushions side was squished flat after 24 hours so I had to go out and buy a steamer for $20 to revive the cushion. It worked great, but I have no other use for this $20 steamer so thereâs that.

GREAT VALUE AND A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP
I purchased this mattress after hearing about it in a few YouTube videos. I specifically purchased it to use in the cargo area of my Toyota 4Runner where I’m constrained in what size mattress I can use. Since I have other gear back there, the 75″ x 25″ size is perfect. I compared this mattress to the Nemo Tensor Insulated mat, the Thermarest Luxury Map, the Exped Megamat Duo and to my normal mattress. I purchased the single, which is 75″ x 25″ x 3″. I am 6 ft. and am approximately 209 lbs. I must confess, this is softer than all the others and my hips sink down quite a bit. For the best sleep, I have to place my Nemo Tensor under it so I don’t bottom out. The Nemo is strictly meant for lightweight backpacking and the Luxury Map is made for car camping as is the Megamat. The Exped Megamat Duo, by itself is more comfortable than the Olee tri-fold, but when you place the Nemo Tensor underneath, I prefer that combination. As luck would have it, the Nemo is exactly the same size so it just works. If you want to use this tri-fold mattress by itself, I’d recommend it only for those under 200 lbs but that’s just me.

I bought this as a gift for my mother and so far she likes it. It’s firm but still portable, and didn’t have any weird smells when we took it out of the packaging.

Not great for a bad back
I bought this to replace my air mattress, which I use when I visit a friend out of town. I figured it would be less hassle because it doesn’t require a pump, and I was hoping it would be more comfortable. It felt good to lay on, but my low back was very painful and stiff after sleeping on it for 4 hours. My niece (10 yo) slept on it and loved it. I think it’s probably a decent camping/traveling mattress solution for people that don’t have low back issues (I definitely do!). I bought the cot size and it is awkward to carry without a carrying case (does not come with).

Has been used on a fairly regular basis and although it does not compare to sleeping on an actual mattress it is quite comfortable and works well for the occasional use when needed. Would buy again, it has held up well with almost 2 years of fairly regular use

a really good and cheap alternative to a shikibuton. its really comfortable and has a washable cover too. it fits me perfectly, and I am a 5’8″ adult male, just for reference. I totally recommend for anyone looking for a good floor mattress!
