Not suitable for babies
My 7yr old picked this for a toy drive for a 10month old she had “adopted” for Christmas, luckily it came in too late and we had to gift a different toy. I say luckily because I wouldn’t have opened it if I were gifting it to the program but since it had come in late I opened it intending on gifting it to my 6 month old instead (the title says this item is for 6-12 month babies and toddlers 1-2 yrs old.) The tag on the mermaid purse style says not for children under the age of 3. I agree with this because the mermaid has a small pearl very loosely sewn on her top. I think these could be a cute gift for that age group if changed a bit, it seems cute and pretty well made (aside from the choking hazards) for soft baby toys.
