The Orbee-Tuff texture of the Guru ball is gentle on dogs’ gums and infused with mint to help keep breath smelling fresh. Doggo LOVES this!
My 40ish pound Schnoodle (named Noodle) absolutely LOVES this treat ball. And I love watching him with it! It’s fun with mini-Milkbone treats, larger BarkBox treats, baby carrots, or even his whole meal of dry kibble (0.75-1 cup fits with plenty of room to keep it interesting). He also enjoys it when empty and it’s one of the few toys he seems to actually keep track of – even remembering to go get it from outside. It barely fits in his mouth for picking up, so he had to (quickly) learn how to position it so that his teeth use the hole in the outer ball and/or make use of the internal structure to keep a grip. If he doesn’t hold it just right, it’ll slide off his teeth and out of his mouth. The intermittent reinforcement of dispensing keeps him interested and slows him down. He’s learned that he can also bounce it by dropping it from the couch or even letting go while moving his head so he’s lightly tossing it in the air. One of the BEST aspects is that even though he’ll chew on it at times, the outside material shows no sign of puncturing or even wearing after 6 weeks.CON: the texture will pick up stray hair and such when covered with slobber, and then it stays stuck on the ball. Frequent rinsing of the outside of the ball is necessary. I will not take a star off, though, because it’s worth it and I don’t think a different material would provide all the other positives.

    Interior breaks easily
The idea of this toy is wonderful. Our 14 year old coonhound-lab enjoys a good puzzle. He still has toys from when he was 6 weeks old. He doesn’t destroy things. This toy was not up to par. Within 30 minutes of supervised play time, the plastic interior maze had broken into several pieces. A few pieces made it out of the ball. The exterior is durable. I was happy with how easy it would be to fill and keep clean. Our pup loved playing with it. It’s simply not at all durable. I am returning this broken toy.

    Great Feeder
Our dogs each eat 1 cup of food twice a day and we always use their dinner as enrichment so these maze balls are a perfect toy! They do take a while to load the food into but I’ve found that it’s not too hard if I cup my hand around the hole.ans guide the food in that way. Sometimes my dogs like to chew on the rubber of these balls and they’ve held up REALLY well so far. I can see some bending of the plastic maze inside the ball but we’ll happily replace these balls if any of that cracks off. These balls are WELL WORTH the price we paid for them and will gladly recommend them to family and friends.

Good until pieces started breaking off.
This was good for a couple of weeks. Both dogs liked it. Then pieces of the maze inside the ball started breaking off and falling out as they rolled it around. The pieces were hard and sharp, so not good for them to get hold of.

    Better for older dogs
Our 6 month old puppy tore the Mazee apart after a few times of using it. It’ll probably last our older dog longer since she doesn’t chew on toys so relentlessly but the size of the hole that dispenses the treats is a bit big so once I saw it, I figured it might not last us very long. They enjoyed rolling it around even when the treats were already out but not the most durable.

Flimsy, hair/carpet sticks to it, treat hole too large
Flimsy, soft material was damaged in minutes with my dog just pawing at it or putting teeth on it to pick it up/toss it around-not even chewing on it. Hole for treats to come out of is too large/maze inside is too easy-treats spill out far too easily. Regrettable purchase, definitely will not buy again.

    Stimulating toy
I got the maze ball for my dog because I thought the snoop would be too easy for him to just lick treats out of the hole. After a few times he’s gotten the hang of it. To roll it with his nose and sniff around after its trail to find whats dropped out. All the sniffing is very beneficial and it keeps him interested for a while. Its not a toy I let him keep out. I only give it to him when I put treats and food into it. Because the outside is soft rubber im sure he would rip it easily. I also don’t allow him to use his teeth on it. Only encourage rolling it with his nose. Great puzzle toy. Its cute to play with him, rolling it around. Even after its empty.

    Garbage toy
I’ve purchased 4 of these in the last 2.5 years. The first one lasted over a year, the second one nearly as long. When I got the third one, it was significantly different , much softer. Lasted less than a month. Fourth one, less than 2 weeks. No longer a quality product for tough chewers.
