Finaly a bowl that slows down eating
This slow feeder dog bowl has been a game-changer for my dog’s mealtime! It really helps slow down his eating, preventing him from gulping food too quickly. The unique design with ridges and patterns makes it fun for him to work through, turning mealtime into a mental challenge. The bowl is sturdy, easy to clean, and the non-slip base keeps it in place during use. It’s perfect for promoting healthier eating habits. Highly recommend for any dog owner with a fast eater!

Does exactly what it’s supposed to – slows feeding from a 20 second meal to a 5 minute meal (I timed it).
My dog scarfs down her food with so much excitement and passion, I was almost jealous. But eating a cup of kibble in 20 seconds is not good. She never experienced bloat but would often vomit her food immediately afterwards if she did anything but stay still and lay down. So I decided to get the slow feeder (large orange spiral design).I was surprised by the width and weight of the feeder. It was much wider and heavier than I expected, as well as bit shallower than a regular bowl, so it no longer fit in the usual feeding area/placement I had for my dog. But unlike her regular bowl, this one was impossible for her to flip over or even move around. The bottom is heavier and sits well on the floor (carpet or tile) so the bowl isn’t pushed around and migrates across your house.I feed 1 cup of kibble per meal, and this bowl fits that amount perfectly. It can definitely fit more (probably another cup if need be), but I think allowing the kibble space inside the bowl is another factor that makes it slow feeding. Some kibbles will fall out during a meal (maybe 2-3 pieces), sometimes being flung pretty far. I have to keep an eye on my dog as she eats so that I can pick up any stray kibble she does not sniff out later. I also keep the bowl away from the stove and refrigerator, which are notorious areas for having their own gravitational pull that suck things into the abyss that is underneath them.It gets quite wet and slobbery with each meal, which is expected, but still quite horrifying. Given that, I would definitely suggest cleaning it often so wash off all the bacteria your dog has in its mouth. Fortunately the bowl is pretty easy to clean. I hand wash it so I can’t attest to its durability in a dishwasher though. There’s not much of a learning curve to it either. When my dog first started eating from the bowl, she was trying to get at it from all angles and was struggling a big. It probably took her 6 minutes or so to finish 1 cup of kibble. 4 months later, she’s consistently eating her food in 5 minutes. So it’s not something that has a trick to it where once the dog learns it, it’ll eat faster and faster over time. I think she’s capped out at 1 cup per 5 minutes and won’t eat any faster than that. Honestly, I wish she would eat at an ever slow rate, but she used to eat her meals in 10-20 seconds, so this is a huge improvement. It’s been about 4 months and my dog has not vomited her kibble once yet. Hooray!I would most definitely buy this item again. It’s a great value ($13), doesn’t flip over, doesn’t slid around, and instantly makes your dog eat slower. I really like the design and color of the orange bowl especially.

Good product overall, but large size only fits ~3 cups of food, not 4
I got this more as an enrichment toy than a slow feeder for my dog, but it works well for both purposes. It’s quality material, non-slip and fits a good amount of food in it. Although it says the large fits 4 cups of kibble, I could only fit closer to 3 without it completely overflowing so take that into consideration depending on your needs. He’s a giant breed and a bit lazy so sometimes he leaves a bit leftover in the smaller crevices, but even with his big snout he is able to get all the food out if he feels like it.I probably wouldn’t have bought it at full price but on sale for $11 it was a good deal. Even at full price, it would be worth it if I needed a slow feeder for my dog because this brand makes consistently good products, I just can’t usually afford them. But I do have a lot of their puzzles, etc. because I trust the brand and just keep an eye out for good sales.I haven’t put it in the dishwasher yet(need to check and see if it’s dishwasher-safe, but I believe it is) but it’s quite easy to rinse clean with soapy hot water. And a bottle brush will likely get the job done for a more thorough clean. Just be careful when you rinse it out because the curves and angles of the bowl make a good water chute and you’ll splash yourself/everything if the faucet is turned on too high.

Works great for these super fast eating Labradors 😂
Really slows the fast eaters down so limits choking. Extends their eating time . Certainly worth it I have purchased a blue and a yellow. Both are doing the intended job. Can’t go wrong

    Slows eating right down
My dog was a super fast eater, knocked off his chow in seconds. Like 15 seconds for 2 cups. (He’s a big boy- half Irish Wolfhound.) I worried of bloating, torsion, and man did he burp! yucch! Vet recommended this bowl. At first it took him over 4 minutes to eat, he’s gotten the hang of it, but it still takes a good 3 minutes. And no burps! A tip I’ll share: after pouring in the dry chow, shake the bowl to spread the kibble out as much as you can, the less food in each whorl the slower doggo can eat.

    Perfect bowl for fast eaters
My Dalmatian typically finishes his meal in under 15 seconds. This bowl has extended his feeding time to up to 10 minutes, which is absolutely incredible.I was surprised at how durable and hard the plastic is, it’s really nice quality. There is also a silicone coating underneath, make it skid resistant. It does still move, but not very easily. It’s fairly large, could fit up to 3 cups of food. I’m really happy with it. Bought a second one for my pitbull.

My new puppy was eating his entire bowl in less that a minute. Now it takes him just over 5 minutes. Much slower and better for the digestion. It works!

Funziona, il mio Golden di 8mesi è costretto a mangiare più lentamente. La ciotola è abbastanza pesante cosa che la rende stabile sul pavimento e difficile da muovere mentre il cane mangia.
