Nice scoop, doesn’t freeze to your hand like metal
My wife didn’t want a metal scoop. She complained it froze to her hand. I didn’t want a cheap plastic one that couldn’t bust through the ice when it sticks together. This one seems to fit the bill as a nice compromise. It is solid enough to break up the ice; big enough to scoop a decent amount of ice; and doesn’t freeze to your hand. Happy with my purchase. OXO seems to make everything well.

Ice scoop
Bought this for our new ice maker and it works perfectly. I love that it’s flexible so when I’m filling my son’s bottles I can squeeze it and make it smaller so ice doesn’t go everywhere. The rubber grip is also great, not like the metal kind that freeze your hand when you grab it. Very sturdy and versatile for different size cups.
