Valuable learning tool when applied thoughtfully in a training program
First of all I’ve never shocked my dog with this collar, but I did shock myself just to see. It was shocking.The reason I’ve never shocked my dog is that the “noise” and the “haptics” modes are enough of a deterrent for the triggers we’ve encountered, so far.Let me be very clear: You must work with your dog to train them if you want to improve their behavior. This collar is not magic and if you overly rely on punishing your dog then you’re just pushing them over the edge. Don’t do that to your beloved friend. If you are not going to commit to working with your dog then do not get this collar thinking that shocking the problem away is possible. It’s not.That said: You have to charge both parts of the system, the collar part and the controller part. You can have multiple pets set to use the same collar. I’m not sure how that would work as far as the family dynamics of who gets to/has to wear the shock collar when there are multiple, but hey.There is a lot of adjustability in the settings.Please learn how to work with your dog, and don’t do something to your Best Friend that you wouldn’t want done to yourself.

Not as Automatic as desired
Good product but was looking for something effective automatic rather than manual stimulation. This seems to work better for training use. The issue with our dog was that we never knew when he would react so can’t be on the spot with the correction. Our dog doesn’t bark much but would get aggressively overexcited when people came to the door. We will keep working with this and seems like an effective trainer.

Finally!!! This one works!
We have tried several different training collars with our dog, who is a very nervous female Australian Shepard with about a year. She has had several different shock collars to help with the training and getting her energy to calm down. She would get wound up barking and the other collars we have tried didnât control it. Basically either the shock of the other collars were too weak or she could tolerate it much better than this one. She gets the vibration warning and then an audible warning, and then we give the finale with a shock if she doesnât bring it down. I am going to tell you that it has only taken a few shocks with this collar for her to understand that it hurts and she doesnât want it to happen. Her behavior has improved so much since getting this collar on her. I also liked the blaze orange collar with reflective strips on this. Over all itâs a well made and works very well. Issues with automatic mode but remote works well
This product did what it promised as long as you do not intend to use the automatic bark function but more on that in a moment. Overall, the product is very easy to use with a few minor inconvenience with indicators. For instance, the collar has an led for when the collar is turned on but only flashes the led every 30 seconds. Furthermore, I was unable to find any indicator on the collar or remote showing the bark function was turned on and what level it was set. Another inconvenience was how you must set the levels for each mode, audible, vibration, or shock. First you must press the corresponding button on the remote to activate that mode on the remote which would also dish out whatever level was previously selected. I ultimately found it best to set levels before powering on the collar. None of these inconveniences affected the functionality of the device but it did require keeping a mental note of settings turned on and what levels each mode was set. The automatic bark function seemed to be buggy. In short, on level 1 sensitivity, it had multiple false triggers and many missed corrections. In all fairness, on level 1 you would expect some missed corrections however, false triggers are unforgivable when set on the lowest sensitivity. In both cases, my dog would wine or on one occasion yawned and the auto bark fuction sent a correction. I would not recommend the bark feature especially when set on a high sensitivity because of the safety concerns with false triggers. I did not try higher sensitivity settings because I feared it would turn into a non stop correction and would only confuse my dog more. Overall, this product does appear durable and if you only intended to use the remote with rare use of the barking function under strict supervision, this product will provide what you need. However, if you are looking for a bark collar with the added functionality of a remote like I was, you will be disappointed with the numerous false correction triggered by the automated bark mode.

Exactly what I needed
I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. As the owner of a strong-willed Cane Corso, I require effective training tools. This device has proven invaluable, as the audible signal alone is sufficient to garner my dog’s attention. Prior to purchasing, I harbored concerns regarding the collar’s size, given my dog’s XL stature. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it fits comfortably. The setup process was remarkably intuitive, and I am impressed by the thoughtful inclusion of a dual charger, facilitating concurrent charging of the collar and remote. This feature is a notable improvement over my previous device.

Great for correcting
I selected this remote collar for my doggie to help in correcting some of his barking problem behaviors. I do feel that this worked well. I noticed that adding the collar on the doggy made him a bit more compliant. The features had an immediate effect on him and we didnât really need to use the pull power. The collar worked at a pretty good distance so if you have your pup in the yard it can still work up to around 500 yards. Itâs pretty affordable and does the job for me.
