All Three of My Cats Love This Toy
Cat toys can be expensive to purchase with no guarantee that your cats will enjoy them. I wanted to give this kind of wand toy a try and the price was hard to beat with stellar reviews. I am so incredibly glad that I gave it a shot! Not only did my new kitten (now 1 yrs old) and his slightly older brother love this toy, but so did their 11 yr old sister! She was playing with it like SHE was a kitten again. This was a HUGE success.The wand it light weight and doesn’t take much movement on your part to get the feathers flying. I do wish that there were some options with thicker handles for those who may struggle to hold things, but for me, it’s worked fantastic. The feathers fell out once, but with how hard my cats were playing, I was surprised it hadn’t happened sooner. A little hot glue and the toy was as good as new!I am planning on buying a few more of these for Christmas for the cats. The wand I’ve had is a little over a year old now and still holding up well!

My cat is singularly obsessed with this toy. She was a shelter pet and is a bit skittish, but as soon as she hears this jingling she comes running and pouncing out, ready to play for hours. I had to remove a star though because the handle came off immediately.

Must open battery compartment to remove plastic tabs in order for toy to work!
My family adopted a very high energy kitten. I ordered a large selection of toys on a wire as his foster family said those were his favorite type and he liked laser toys. I thought this toy would incorporate both elements. I was disappointed at first when I opened the toy and turned it to the on position. It didn’t work. I thought it was defective and began the process to return it to Amazon. Husband gets home that night and says doesn’t the toy have one of those plastic pulls that you need to remove in order for the on/off switch to work? We’re familiar with those because many kids toys with batteries have that and they won’t work until the plastic tab is pulled out. It keeps the batteries from touching and maybe they last longer on the shelf? I’m not sure about the mechanics of that, however, I looked closely and there was no plastic pull. Husband retrieves a tiny screwdriver and opens the compartment up and sure enough, there were two plastic pull tabs. The only way to remove them was to fully open the battery compartment.There are no directions on the bag it arrived in. So, be aware that you might need a rather tiny screwdriver to successfully open the battery compartment.That being said, I highly recommend this toy. Lots of toys have a feather on the end of a wire and those are great, but this toy has two things that elevate its use and enjoyment above and beyond the typical. One, the LED light makes this a great toy to use in the dark. The LED light is even more enjoyable for the human because the light cycles through a variety of colors. I didn’t know this and I love the little light show. The “bulb” that encloses the LED light is a plastic that is on the softer side so when your kitten/cat chomps it like a leopard on the hunt, you don’t need to worry that they might be hurting themselves or their teeth. And, two, the bell on this toy is different. On all the other cat toys we have, the bell is like a miniature Christmas bell – fairly loud and jangly. The bell on this particular cat toy is more subtle, I imagine he thinks its more like a mouse rustling through the leaves instead of a marching bands of mice wearing band uniforms. He absolutely loves this toy. I basically hide it all day long and wait until its time for bed, then play with him until he is so tired, he can’t muster any more energy. If I don’t use this toy as the final play time of the night, my toes are usually in danger around 2-3a.m. so this toy is worth every penny.

Es el juguete que más le gusta hasta ahora. No lo entiendo, es solo un palito curvado con una pluma. Cuando me llegó a casa pensé que tendría que devolverlo, pero mi gatita esta obsesionada con él. Solo espero que aguante porque sino tendré que pedir otro… 🙁 He leído reseñas que el palo no aguanta mucho… Veremos… En un tiempo actualizaré. De momento, un 10!!

Une canne à pêche pour chat très solide, avec en plus un petit “plumeau de remplacement” j’adore ce produit et mes deux chats encore plus, elles jouent avec quotidiennement et le produit ne s’est jamais cassé. Je recommande vivement et Moquette et Chibi aussi !
