Set up was way too easy
Great product, looks like the rope is going to last a while and it’s actually pretty wide so plenty of scratching surface. It would be nice if the two tube attaching points would have been the same so you could switch them out as the bottom one got worn or even just tip it upside down with the same size top piece but the bottom piece is mounted differently to the base. It does make it stronger but limits the life of it. I do have the bolt to to the missing top piece so I will probably just use it to bolt a piece of plywood when it’s time to turn it upside down. The box came missing the very top cap/piece, not a deal breaker and it would have been too small for either one of my fat cats to sit on anyway.

Great Cat Stretch!
My cats are tall and lanky. They love using this scratcher because it’s tall enough for them to get a good stretch! It’s well-made and super easy to put together. It took me less than 5 minutes to assemble. I sprayed it with a bit of meowijuana cat nip spray and we were set!

Saved my couch!
I have had this for a year and my cat’s still use it daily! They love being able to stretch up and scratch, and they enjoy climbing on it! Both of my cats are nine pounds and sit perfectly on top hahaha. It’s very sturdy, theyve pushed it over during zoomies and it doesn’t break. It’s rather hard to push over for a cat. It looks fine in our living room, not awkward at all! And best of all, my couch is saved!

Cats loved it. Maybe too much.
My cats were immediately drawn to this. It was great for my big boys because they could get a good long stretch with the tall height of this post. But it has significantly unraveled in just a matter of weeks. The cord is a thinner cord than most of the scratching posts I have had, so maybe that’s the issue. I will try rewrapping it in a thicker cord once this one is no longer usable. It is well-balanced and steady, so I don’t have to worry about it toppling over when my cats get too aggressive with their scratching or my bigger cats push against the upper areas of the post when they stretch. Oh, and that little ball on the elastic string… it was ripped off within hours, but those never last long with my cats.

Nice and solved the problem!
I got this because Mo (thatâs her in the picture) kept clawing this corner of the new sectional. The furniture is microfiber which is the only material Iâve found that can hold up to fully clawed cats, cat hair and even cleaning up the occasional hairball, but I thought there was no point in pushing my luck. I put it in front of the corner and rubbed a little catnip into it. She sniffed it and ignored it for a day or two then started using it. Problem solved! It was easy to put together and is holding up well so far. My other two cats (also fully clawed) like it too especially the toy on the side. I did notice thereâs a little bit of space in the middle where they wrapped the sisal rope and you can see the heavy duty cardboard underneath. The rope is secured well though and it doesnât bother me. The post is nice and tall so a fully grown cat can get a good stretch. Overall very pleased.p.s. A note on microfiber⦠I had my last microfiber furniture almost 10 years and in that time had multiple cats. After 10 years it was time to replace it, but it still showed very minimal wear. I ended up giving it to a guy for his downstairs basement. Microfiber is the way to go when it comes to cats.

Second Purchase, my cats love this!
My Cats LOVE this scratching post! I have bigger full grown cats & this is perfect for letting them stretch and scratch! It holds up pretty well. I had to replace the sisal on the first purchase but only after months of constant & daily use. I wouldn’t have purchased this again if I had any doubts about quality.

New vs 1 Year Later: Satisfied!
Updated Review: Almost exactly one year later, this is what we have folks. It’s not the prettiest but its actually in pretty decent shape! There’s still lots to scratch! However because I’m a stickler for asthetics, I am going to try a non-rope, square style tower that is the same size and see how it wears. This one will be moved to the basement as its still loved & used several times a day. Original Review: We have two grown cats (one is over 17 lbs) and needed a larger scratching post. They both love this one. You’ll notice in the pic the toy is now detached from the string lol I’ve had it over a month now and it’s in decent shape. The post has not ever been knocked over, but will wobble a bit when the big one is going to town on it.One area of improvement might be thicker rope as it’s already separating in the mostly used area. But besides that, im happy with my purchase.
