Customers say
Customers find the leash functional and suitable for its intended use. However, some find the size too small for a dog leash, allowing dirt to get into the spring and jam the clasps. Opinions vary on its sturdiness and value for money.

Rubi –
Break easily
I went through the entire package quicker than I’d like. They break easy especially during the winter months.

Exactly what I needed for puppy house training
I was making a house line for my new puppy (paracord + a clasp) so I can keep a close eye on him in the house and redirect him when he was getting into things he shouldn’t. This clasp was strong enough and light enough for my Westie puppy.

Good value, runs small
Good value however not as sturdy as I would like for a product that says heavy duty.

Dog lead clasp.
These dog lead clasps are strong enough to hold my 125 pound dog. I use them on the ends of my cables near exterior doors to occasionally hold the dog outside when I canât walk him. I recommend them if you have a need.

As expected, good quality
Exactly what we needed. Exactly as we expected.

They will break if put under stress
In the first week of use, one of the clasps bent and it was no longer able to open and close. I didn’t believe that my dog could have bent “heavy duty metal alloy” that much, so I kept using them. I assumed it was from my kids messing around with the leash or maybe it was run over by a vehicle. Now I don’t think that’s the case. Today my dog ran out into the street after some dogs on a walk that she wanted to play with. She was leashed, but the clasp snapped in two the second she pulled hard against the leash. Luckily there were no cars in the street and the dogs were friendly. It was a close call that could have turned out a lot different. These are NOT, in any way, “super sturdy”, “heavier and stronger design, sturdy enough to use with a big dog.” I don’t understand how those comments can be used in the description. My dog is a well-behaved 25 pound labradoodle, who does not often pull on the leash. She’s not a dog that is capable of shattering metal of any type. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! THEY WILL FAIL EVENTUALLY. Hopefully you’re dog is OK when they do.

The work and are strong.
Some clips have too strong a spring and are difficult to one hand. This one seem strong enough but still easy to use with one hand.

Lightweight but works just fine
Had them for about two months now. They are on the light side but theyâre holding up just fine.
