Works Well for Giving Pills
My dog loves the taste, and it makes giving pills much easier. The treats are soft and easy to use, making them a great option for pill administration.Just a heads-up to future buyers: Make sure your dog doesnât see you prepping the treat, or they may catch on and refuse it. Otherwise, it works great and helps make pill time a lot less stressful. Overall, a solid product!

The best pill pocket eva
The best thing about these is that you can use as much as as little as you need to, depending on the size of your dog or the size of the pill or whatever it even disguises the gross taste of the flea and heart medicine that dogs typically spit out I think this is a better value than greenies because you can, use as much or little as you need to and youâre not stuck with using one pill pocket for a tiny little pill dog loves the taste. Weâve bought all the flavors and he loves all of them. This is a go. Weâve been using it for a long time now and Iâm never using another type of pill pocket again.

Best pill wrap
I have a dog that has to take pills twice a day. Before finding this pill wrap he balked each time and sometimes it became almost impossible to get him to take them. Now I do a simple wrap and the pills are down without a fight. I recommend to all to use this very easy wrap Life has never been easier and my dog is very happy

Does a good job of completely covering pills — and my dog likes the taste!
If your pooch needs to swallow large pills or capsules, this product does the trick. Scooping some of the product onto your finger and then completely covering pills or capsules is easy. I wish the product were a bit less thick, but that is a minor complaint. (It has the consistency of silly putty.) All in all, I’m satisfied with the product.

Great find!
I tried pill pockets, cheese, peanut butter but my little smart York figured them all out. She would eat the treat and spit out her pill. But this wrap a pill paste works! No matter how much she rolls the treat around in her mouth the pill does not separate from the paste. She ends up swallowing it. Mission accomplished! I highly recommend this product.

Dog likes it and it conceals bad tasting pills
My dog had a lot of pills to take with her recent knee surgery, two of which are known to taste awful. This paste worked to cover those pills and she took them with no difficulty. For reference she is used to taking neutral tasting pills as she has arthritis and allergies and gets pills daily. I don’t bother concealing those with anything and she takes them with no difficulty.I like that I can use just as much as is needed to cover the pills and the texture is easy to work with and not greasy. I’m always careful not to touch the outside of the paste with fingers that have touched the icky pills to avoid transfering the bad taste.

Worked great! I highly recommend.
In September our dog had surgery. During recovery he had to take A LOT of pills, several times a day. Most of the pills we could manage to give him by wrapping it with chicken strips. However, there were two pills that were a real struggle to give him. No matter how many times we tried, he would eat the chicken and then spit out the pills.I found the “Pet MD Wrap A Pill Cheese & Bacon Flavor Pill Paste for Dogs” on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It worked great!I wrapped the pill in a thin layer of the paste, just enough to cover and hold the pill. Then I used pieces of chicken to wrap the paste that covered the pill. He took the pills with no problem, and I didn’t have any problems with giving him pills after that.Luckily, our dog is in the phase of recovery where he doesn’t need medication anymore. But I will definitely use the Wrap A Pill if I ever have to give him medication in the future, and I highly recommend it to any pet owner.A side note/FYI:Our dog was not drinking much after his surgery. Since we were boiling a lot of chicken to encourage him to eat, our Vet suggested mixing some chicken broth with his water. Of course I took it a step further and mixed the chicken broth with water and pieces of chicken. It worked wonders and he drank it right up. It was almost like giving him chicken soup. Our dog is very spoiled now. :)But we are very happy that he is feeling better. <3

Better than Pill Pockets
I have to give my pup 2 – 4 pills per day. Although I wish this was less expensive, I prefer this product over pill pockets now. Definitely more than PB or cheese. It is more pliable and easier to control the amount. It sticks to the pill so that my dog doesnât try to spit it out. She loves the flavor.

Our dog needs to take quite a few tablets and one capsule in particular was really tricky to give him. – particularly when we had to change him to hypoallergenic food. Heâd find the capsule in wet food and either refuse to eat it or spit the capsule out. This comes in a tub and is like a putty. We just scoop some out and ball it round the capsule. We use a tiny bit just for a thin layer over his other tablets. Now he sits and gives us a paw for his wrapped medication! He has food allergies which caused ear infections but no flare up since using this. Brilliant.

Used to wrap pill – dog usually spits pill out but wrapped in this she was looking for more . Will always be keeping a supply of this in the house for use in the future – excellent !!!!!!!!! Expensive but probably worth money because of reduced hassle .

I really hoped this was my answer to my problem of getting pills down my dog, but he refused to eat it even without a pill inside. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Our greyhound is on long term medication of 3 capsules a day. She can be quite “sniffy” about her food. Using a small amount of paste and rolling the pill / capsule in the paste in the palm of the hand to form a coating that then looks like a small olive – works a treat, just put the “olive” in with the main food in a bowl, not fired down the throat. Let the dog scoop it up, but don’t let it get too wet otherwise it just rolls around in the mouth. At the end of last year is was not available on Amazon or anywhere. I even wrote to the company and the manufacturer in USA in despair. The alternative would be a D.I.Y. paste with peanut paste – very messy and hard to store, or, use commercial pill pockets – they are very expensive for long term with more multiple medications. To get the best scoop amount I searched the internet and the best metal scoop was a Danish salt spoon (Ib Laursen Metal Salt Spoon ) as being only 5.5cm long it fits snugly into the lid of the container – so easy to use and store. Other means of delivering medications are available but for me, the wrap a pill is essential, as the “olives” as above are easily added to her food at a meal time, not separate. I am so glad that wrap a pill exists and is once more back on Amazon.
