Perfect. Finally! Lasts hours past any $30-40 puzzles
HOURS & hours of entertainment. Perfect for small or medium dogs. The lid doesn’t keep popping off either like most treat balls. I’m a dog training but I’m now a expert on all these dog puzzles that have been coming out. With those stated,my dog can figure out any new puzzle in under 10 mins. All those he owns which is 95% of them- he can clear in 1 to 4 minutes. I was worried that the cutouts inside this ball were paper or cardboard. It is PLASTIC however. The company should state that because I almost didn’t order it because their photos and their ad really makes it look like a thick paper insert. Neither would the other 15 other people I told about it. So you may be losing a lot of money by not showing the inside is 1 piece & sturdy plastic. $7 is great for how many hours he’ll play with this. I can’t believe he actually fist-bumped it on his way out the door the other morning. THAT was funny. He holds 1 paw up, or stands with 1 paw resting on it when he’s desperate to play. But that day, he casually walked out the door, bent his knee up & popped his knee into it without skipping a beat as he walked past it. Like men do when they’re saying “Good job brother! Me n you.. later”.I couldn’t believe I watched him do that. Way cute. But this is honestly the best toy I’ve gotten for him in the past year or 2. & that says a lot… bcus he gets about 2 to 5 new toys or puzzles a month. The other great aspect is you can cut the treats (I often use skinless/boneless boiled chicken breast bcus its a MILLION times healthier, & much cheaper. To different sizes for difficulty level. A dog with a mouth big enough to pick this ball up (30 lbs or more) you are risking they can crack the lid off. While it’s made of thick plastic & screws on well, it also splits in 2 (not sure why). I guess someone with larger dogs & small dogs should write a review because I honestly don’t know, I’m basing my experience on other treat balls that I’ve owned. You just wanna make sure it’s large enough that your dog can’t actually get its whole mouth around it and crack to crack it open. And this is a pretty small one. I attached a photo of it next to my hand and a tennis ball. But I mean , it is absolutely fantastic for smaller medium dogs. And it would work really well for even a Chihuahua or any tiny to med dog. My dog in the photos and videos is 15 pounds. Floor to shoulder is 15″. Collar to tail bone is also 15″ for a size for comparison.

    Kept my dogs busy
I have a 40 lb blue heeler mix and a 100 lb lab mix. When I received the product I was surprised by the size, smaller than I expected. Although I was weary my dogs love it! It definitely keeps them busy while we are away during the day. One thing I will say is that mine breaks open but I think that’s because majority of the time the dogs play with it on concrete and dropping it a bunch on concrete made the top open but nothing was broke.

Fantastic for cats, not great for larger dogs
I bought this ball to keep a 75 lb. foster dog entertained. The concept is great, but the ball ended up not being as great in reality. For one, it is small enough that he could fit the entire thing in his mouth. I was afraid he would be able to bite down and shatter it like an egg. The ridges along the clear half would be better if they were just smooth bumps or gone completely because they allow dogs to get a grip on the ball if they try to hold and chew the entire thing in their mouths. Without the ridges, the smooth ball would just fly out of a dog’s mouth if he tried to chew it. With food and the discs inside, the ball also ends up being bottom-heavy, which made it harder for my foster dog to get treats out than I would have liked. He knows how to use a Kong Wobbler toy but wasn’t interested in this ball for long periods of time because getting the treats out was too difficult. I ended up taking all the discs out of it to make it easier. He still wasn’t interested in it, so I have now given it to my cat. I thought it might be too big for a cat but decided to try it for feeding him a meal because he needs things to keep him from being bored too. He got the idea right away, even though he had never used a treat-dispensing toy before. I had to help him a few times until he understood what to do because he would get frustrated, walk away from the ball, and start meowing for more food. Once he learned how to use it, he took off and pawed it around for most of his dinner. It actually wore him out pretty fast, which is great. He usually follows me around and meows nonstop because he’s bored, but I think I will be using this ball for a lot of his meals from now on. I can’t attest to this ball being used for medium or small dogs, but I think it would be best for dogs that aren’t destructive or heavy chewers. My foster dog didn’t break it, but I could easily see a large dog shattering it in their mouth and getting hurt on the hard plastic.

my dog loves it but it falls apart easy
this is our second of this toy the first one we have had for a few years and he rolled somewhere I can’t find it. This new one seems to fall apart really easy, one side splits in half which our old one didn’t and then it opens a lot as he’s playing with it.

Me gustó mucho! Los premios no se salen tan fácil incluso siendo pequeños, le puedes ajustar la dificultad y es resistente.

Love it and more importantly, so does our boxer! Keeps her entertained and active for quite awhile and is a great way to add in extra activity on cold days. Not too easy, or too hard. Adjustable feature works well. Only complaint is the material, which is super hard, makes it hard for our dog to pick up and seems like it might cause long term wear on wooden stairs.

I purchased the 3 inch version and my dog loves it. Need to cut treats up small otherwise it would be super challenging for the treats to be dispensed. It’s a little tricky to put together but that’s the nature of having multiple layers.
