works but triggered by any dog
The device works, and arrived quickly. I had no issues with the seller or the delivery of the product. The product itself just is not a good product. It works, but is not effective. It only beeps and it goes off when any dog barks, not just the dog wearing it. So it’s too sensative, and not triggered by just the dog that happens to be wearing it, which makes it less effective. It confuses the dog wearing it, and didn’t assist with preventing barking. If designed to only beep when triggered by the dog wearing it, it would have worked perfectly in my opinion, because it does go off quickly. In a single dog household it may work better. However, if another dog is too close to the home, or around when worn, it would still be possible to affect the effectiveness of it.

Works But…
This works great but is very annoying because it is too easy to switch between two dogs accidentally. When I put the receiver in my pocket it switches accidentally to Dog number 2. Then I have to fiddle with it to switch it back when I need to use it immediately to give proper training. Since the best timing for a dog to understand a correction is within 3 seconds this switching glitch disrupts the learning for the dog. I wish they would make this in a one-dog-only version.

Works initially, but becomes inconsistent
I loved that this remote work for both my dogs and had the option for turning bark control off and on. I like the different levels for each dog too for vibrate and beep. The issue was it would beep when they would be scratching themselves (not on neck), just walking, or playing. The function for bark control no longer works. We have had these for 10 months and primarily use them in the summer while camping.

Great training tool!
This was the perfect product for our family. Our 11 month old energetic, deaf Maggy has been wonderful to train with this collar. Since voice commands are useless, the adjustable vibration feature is perfect. Low to get her attention, medium to come to us, and high to stop the behavior and look for a hand signal. Within a few days, she caught on to what the vibrations meant. The shock feature has only been used when she ignores the vibration or is behaving dangerously. The level adjustment from 0 to 99 is a fantastic feature that helps avoid accidental shocks. Battery life is incredible after full charge and the display is perfectly easy to read. We use the chime as well to alert our other dogs to pay attention to us when we need them. The remote is a great size and has been very useful for long walks. The PetJoy Dog Training Collar is a great product for our needs and I highly recommend it.

Truely a miracle cure for my overly aggressive dog!
I was at wits end with trying to train my large dog to stop barking, biting, and attacking every person it encountered. I got this Petjoy shock/vibrate collar, and had instant results. After one night wearing this collar my dog began showing restraint. After 2 months of use, the dog is completely transformed into a sweet, lovable pet. She runs leash-free at parks and doesn’t attack or bark at anyone. NOTE: I set the shock level on 6 out of 100. It’s enough. I recommend you test the shock level on yourself before putting it on the dog. We tried level 6 on a very small dog, and she howled in fright for several minutes. ALSO: The small screw on conductor pins that make contact with the skin become lose and fall off every so often. Luckily, they are a standard size and easy to find replacements for in electronic supply shops. I bought a pack of 4 for $0.50. Keep an eye on them so you don’t lose them like I did. Also, the wi-fi range for the hand-held device is really far. I have yet to find its limits. When my dog wonders off in the park, even 500 yards, a quick vibrate function will get her running back to me. Anther drawback of this device is loud engines such as a motorcycle, or other very close barking dogs will set off the automatic shock.

I am working on barking with my dogs, I have these both set to vibration only on 25 off 99 and they worked immediately. i still have to use them for training but they absolutely are learning and can feel the vibration and it corrects them. the one thing i’ve noticed is that my one dog shakes his fur when he stands up and sometimes him shaking like that sets off the vibration. so that isn’t good. i’ve mostly been using it manually (not on auto-bark) for that reason.Also, The company has excellent communication.

My dogs stay in my yard, come when called and can walk trails off leash with these collars on. All it takes is a beep for them to be corrected. Have not used the anti bark function tho.
