Great toy for your cat, not very durable.
I bought this for my cat about 8 months ago when I moved into an apartment. I was going to be gone most of the day, so I thought this would be something he would like, and I was right. My cat would sit at this toy and meow until me or my Fiancé would turn it on for him. The problem? It was so dang loud. We tried to train him to not want it during the night and just come lay on the bed, but he found out how to turn it on by himself (the button on the top is really easy to press, he just watched us after a month or two). The other problem is the batteries. I found myself buying batteries once a week. it takes 3 AA batteries, but I would replace them twice a week. I resorted to buying a battery replacer that plugs in the wall, but he pounced on the toy so much that it broke the battery replacer. Here are a few things I would change about this1: the motor. its too loud, and it burns out when your cats claw catches it and they think theyve won the game2: the battery life is horrible. I get that its a literal spinning motor, but i think some design changes and a motor swap would not only make it quieter, but the battery would last longer3: a way to plug it in the wall. Is it too much to ask that I dont want to have the option to spend my life savings on batteries?4: replaceable feathers on the end. My cat decided to spread the love of his toy by bringing it around the house, so i was gluing the feathers back in on occasion.takeaways from thisPros: My cat loved it. He would literally beg for us to turn it on until he found out how to turn it on… Which leads me to the next pro, If your cat is curious enough, they will find out how to turn it on. I think it only stays on for 3 minutes to preserve battery life, so if your cat wants to keep playing, they can turn it back on. this also works great for them playing while youre at work. another pro is that your cat actually plays. it triggers their natural hunting instinct, so when its bedtime, they will crash, leaving you a nice quiet sleep.Cons: its loud, like really loud. its not unbearable, but if they turn it on during the night, it might wake you up. The batteries… OH THE BATTERIES. I have never bought more batteries in my life. I bought a battery eliminator for it, one that plugs into the wall and the plug is shaped like a battery, and it ended up breaking due to the design. also, your cat will turn it on. its a great pro, but also a bad con. again. if your cat decides to turn it on at 3 in the morning, bust out the Philips head and pull the battery, just be ready for the constant meowing for you to turn it back on

Queen Meow Meow approved!
We recently adopted a 2 year old kitten. Bought this toy for her in hopes she would like it. Itâs been a phenomenal toy for her!! She will sit by the toy and meow for us to turn it on!! She is so playful with it and loves the action. I love that it has several speeds and also that it has a crinkly top that attracts her with the sound as well. I was worried she might rip off the feathers but they have held up really well to her pounces and grabs. The great thing is if she grabs the feathers the machine seems to sense it and it doesnât break which is great. The only drawback is it uses batteries and would be great if it was rechargeable but honestly, the batteries used are worth it!! We got it 3 weeks ago and use it every day at least a couple of times and the batteries just needed to be changed. I would definitely recommend this toy for cats of all ages who love movement and play! Our Queen Meow Meow loves it.

I like and dislike this product
While I ordered the item pictured I actually received one with different fabric. I ordered the one pictured as it was to be an exact replacement for another one weâve had for about 10 years. It was awesome, just wore out and would not operate as fast as it used to so time for a new one. The old one ran until it was turned off. This newer version only runs for 10 minutes. While I do like the idea of a timer I constantly have to turn it on for my cat. It would be much better if the timer had a longer run time. Also the thing under the mat that the cat chases is dangerous in my opinion. It has fuzzy material and a thin curly ribbon attached. A cat could easily swallow that ribbon. Fortunately I was able to swap attachments with my older model which was better made and safer. I put it on the newer model and fit perfectly. Since my cat uses it a lot he is going to have to get a job to pay for all those batteries! Other than the items I dislike it us a great toy and my cat loves it. He actually wakes me up at night wanting me to turn it on. Cat thinks itâs a winner!

doesn’t last long
I am buying this product for the 4th time this year and, the only reason I am, is because my cats absolutely love it. I don’t know if it’s because they tend to play rough with it or it just isn’t made to last long. Twice the motor just died, another time the toggle part moved but would them stop until I pushed it. It would move again, then stop, so I gave up. Unfortunately, they worked just long enough for the return window to close, so I was unable to return it to get a refund. Again, my cats do tend to beat it up, so it may just be them having too much fun. It is a wonderful toy, or I wouldn’t keep buying it.

My cats love this! It spinsfast but is noisy.
My cats love these spinning toys. This is about the 6-7th of these style toys I’ve bought bc my cats wear them out quickly, but it is my first if this brand. This one is the fastest by far. It spins so fast that my cats don’t attempt to lay on it out of boredom. It does take batteries and it is noisy but I think it has a more powerful engine than the other toys of this style. I don’t think it’ll wear out as fast as the others. I’ve used it daily for a few weeks and batteries are still going strong. If your cat is a mellow, shy kitty this might not be the toy, if it’s a little wilder and more adventurous give it a shot.

Es un buen juguete, pero solo por un rato. Ya tengo tiempo Con el. Y a mi gato ya ni le llama la atención.

My cat seemed interested in the moving mouse and pounced on it a few times, knocked it over
Chelsea –
My cat hated this. Itâs so loud when rolling on a hard floor it just scares my cat and she wants nothing to do with it. Definitely not worth purchasing in my opinion!

My cats like it well enough, although they (understandably) get bored after a while and want to play with something else. Then we’ll put it on the next day and they’re interested again. they’re not too aggressive but the wand seems sturdy enough anyway. There is a little motor noise; there are 3 speeds you can choose from, plus a “random” movement. It works best on a hard floor. It takes 3 AA batteries, and I didn’t have any issues in changing them (you do need a screwdriver but I just used one of the heads included in my 6-in-1 screwdriver, so assume it’s a fairly common size that’s needed). Have had it for 4 months now, had it on a for a little while most days and have changed batteries 3 times. Am pleased with it.
