Important Tip
I’ve purchased three. The toy is fantastic but the first one I thought was a dud UNTIL I accidently left it charging for several days! The toy then worked fantastic so now after I purchase another because I’m giving them to family pets, toddlers, etc……I charge it for three or four days before I give it away. You also need to purchase the plug in because it comes with charging cable only. But the price is very reasonable for such a great toy. My cat at first seemed uninterested but she needs awhile to get interested in anything new. A new fancy donut bed, a fountain water system, a toy. I guess that is how cats are.

weak motor
i was very hopeful this would be better than the jumping/rolling kind. nope. first one barely moved. returned and got another. same thing, the motor is too weak to do much rolling on wooden floor. let us all know when you’ve upgraded to a better version and i might try that version out.

This is cute and fun for kittens to play with (and humans to watch). Doesn’t work well on carpet, but great on bare floors. Doesn’t hold a charge long, doesn’t stay on long enough at a time, and slow to recharge. (But vastly cheaper than the original model.)

Make sure your animal is small with this one because a larger animal could swallow it and then you have a serious problem on your hands. The ball lights up, vibrates, spins, and then rolls in a straight line which is brilliant for cat play. Our cat loves it. It powers down after couple of minutes not being moved. Great idea and execution.

This toy won’t move on carpet or tile, and barely moves on vinyl. Really, all it does on any flooring is just spin in place. I returned it as it served no purpose and did not engage my cats.

The cats are entertained!
My cats love it! As I type this reviews my boys are playing with the interactive ball. They’ve been nonstop with the ball since it arrived. Charging didn’t take long, like less than 10 min. Not certain of battery life yet, but I’ll post a 2nd review in a few days to report how it’s holding up. My cats have been playing with it nonstop for 20 minutes and counting.It shuts off on its own after a few minutes.

The lop sideded effect, speeds up and blinks too fast.
Not sure if mine is broken, I mean I have seen other videos and feel like the one I got speeds up faster to almost strobe light effect. It also feels lop sided where it stays spinning too long and doesn’t roll away. The cat stares at it but doesn’t chase it as much as other toys I have purchased. Not sure if they are intimidated more by it just because of that. We will see, only been a day.
