When we give this toy to our dogs we like to ask, How would you like your steak, sir? and even though they cant answer, were pretty sure theyd like it just like this, with treat rings on top. Add up to 2 treat rings to the Busy Buddy Slab o Sirloin with the refillable SnapFit treat-holding cups. For double fun, you can smear nut butter (or even doggie toothpaste!) in the grooves on the back of the sirloin to keep your dog entertained even longer. The textured surface of this toy helps keep your dog’s teeth and gums clean by preventing and removing build-up as they chew. Its a clever toothbrush that looks and tastes like a snackgenius, we know. The BPA-free rubber is beef scented to keep your dog happy even after the treat rings are gone, and its top rack dishwasher safe to make your life easier. Your pet deserves the best. Trust PetSafe to help keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.

Customers say
Customers find the pet toy entertaining and keeping their pets busy for 20 minutes. However, some customers report that it’s not durable enough and breaks easily after chewing. They feel it’s overpriced and a waste of money. Some also mention difficulty in placing and removing the toy. Opinions differ on whether it’s safe for dogs to chew on or if it’s suitable for chewing.

Keeps him busy
Dog loves it & can keep him busy up to 45 mins trying to get the treat out. It is a little torn at the edge but has lasted so far…my dog is a very aggressive chewer

Occupied her time
The reason for the three star rating for starters it is a little difficult to get the rings within the steak, but once it does take my dog, a little bit of a while to get them out, which is really nice because most things she goes through really fast so she does have to work at this. On the downside rings were both out. She started eating the Center nub and she already broke it so I had to take it away from her when she was done so she wouldnât continue to break it. She also started pulling off the white outer ring Surrounding the steak and pulling that off. It has lots of nice grooves for her teeth and she really likes chewing on it, but I donât know how sturdy it isThat being said she does like it and she likes eating it and chewing on it and trying to get the little rings out. It keeps her busy for a good 20 minutes, which is really nice cause I can clean up and not have to worry about my puppy while sheâs occupied. But I donât know how safe it is to leave with her for extended periods of time because she so easily started to break

Impossible for one, easy for the other
I have 2 dogs, one who cannot get the rings out of this toy to eat and can keep him busy fir quite a while before he gives up. The other dog can pop them out in a minute, so different dogs will get different value out of the toy. Placing the rings in can be a pain sometimes–depending on how plyable the ring is. Durability is pretty good–but again depends on the dog and how they chew on a toy. Mine like it so I have a spare on hand when this one is destroyed. Definitely keeps the one dog busy–and he is the more food motivated one. The other let’s him work on it all day then pops the rings out and eats them in front of him.

Very dangerous for dogs.
Zero durability. My dog broke off small pieces of sharp plastic(?) from the edges of this toy steak in less than five minutes of moderate chewing. Whatever this thing is made of, it’s clearly not meant to be ingested and is not designed for a dog who likes to chew.Obviously can’t return it for a refund as it’s now broken and slobbery, and obviously don’t want a free replacement because it’ll probably kill my dog. There doesn’t seem to be a support option for “product is absolute trash, please refund me.”

Expired treats â¦
Very cute idea, but unfortunately the treats that came with this toy expired May 2024. I was hoping to give this to my dog tomorrow and get some work done but now I canât. Iâll just wait to go to the actual dog store

Rottieâs Favorite Treat Toy, Easy to Fillâ¦
My Rottweiler has several treat toys and this is her favorite. Problem is that she is an aggressive chewer and after she removes the discs she continues to chew on it and now requires a replacement. Provides a reasonable challenge. Easy to fill with the help of a butter knife.

Hold the ring treats, but not as interesting as the bristle bone
My puppy loves her bristle-bone ring treat thingie but can’t always eat the rings down to the center. So I got this to accommodate partially nibble rings that still have their centers intact. However it just wasn’t as interesting as the bristle bone. And since then she’s figured out how to get the rings fully out of the bristle bone.
