IT WORKS!
The first day, I thought, “This doesn’t work.” 🙁 The next two weeks, he barked occasionally and trembled in response to the dog-pitched collar sound. Since then, it’s been, “Is the dog still outside?” :D. No barking. He stopped barking at the neighbors. Honestly, he’s calmed down and is better behaved. He used to get all worked up & frantic from all his own barking. We used black, electric tape to decrease the collar size, without cutting it. We inherited this barky chihuahua at 2 yrs old. It doesn’t matter what direction the box on the collar faces. If he’s in the house & sees a rabbit outside, he still goes into frenzy barking & racing around. Collar on= quiet, interested, window viewing. …rabbit gone, collar off. Years ago, in desperation, we “unsuccessfully” tried a stop-barking, shock collar on a dog. It didn’t stop the barking and it was torture for the dog, even burned neck. Still feeling guilty. 🙁

Ultrasonic bark collar didn’t work at all for our Golden Retriever.
Our 1 year old Golden Retriever has 2 acres to roam and is controlled with an in the ground boundary system. He started barking at far away noises so and didn’t seem to want to stop. We decided to try this ultrasonic collar. The microphone is very sensitive and triggers on many noises other than barking. After a very short time our dog has chosen to ignore the collar and returned to his barking ways. We will have to try something else.

I was skeptical, but it works!
This is the first review I’ve written, though I shop Amazon all the time. My husband insisted that we order this bark control collar because someone we knew had success with it. I had very low expectations that it would have any effect at all on our loud, stubborn (but completely adorable!) beagle mix. He barks whenever we see another dog (cat, squirrel, rabbit, imaginary creature, etc.) while we’re out walking. Loudly. This is annoying and embarrassing. Our lab barks with him, but his bark doesn’t pierce the eardrum like the beagle’s. We received the collar yesterday and used it then and this morning. It is nothing short of amazing. Really, miraculous. My dog barked once yesterday and once this morning. After that, he would notice other dogs, wrinkle his forehead like he’s thinking about it, then just move on down the sidewalk. I was worried that it would be uncomfortable for him, or make him sad or anxious, but he seems completely fine. He is his normal happy self, just quieter.I do have a couple of concerns. I don’t want him to never be able to bark. He’s a dog, it’s a natural reaction. He doesn’t bark for long periods of time or for no reason. So I ONLY intend to use this collar while we’re walking. I want him to learn that it’s not ok to wake the neighbors at 7 am just because there are other dogs on the planet.My other concern is the fact that the collar seems pretty sensitive. The red light comes on when I cough, when a loud car goes by and possibly when he brushes against a tree or other object. So far, he doesn’t seem to react when it flashes briefly like that, so maybe it won’t be a problem. I’m hoping there is a difference in what he hears when he’s actually barking, so he will learn that that is what causes the tone. Since I can’t hear it myself, it is hard to know.Overall, I am beyond thrilled with this collar after 2 days of use. I wish I had purchased it long ago. I’m sure it doesn’t work for all dogs, but I’m so happy that it’s working for us. I’m cautiously optimistic that the success will continue. If it doesn’t, I will update my review.

Waste of money
This “bark collar” did nothing to deter my dog from barking. We could see the red led indicator when it was active but she didn’t even notice it. Useless.

Tried it on both of my dog and it had no effect what so ever… Readed the manual twice to make sure we used it correctly and no result what so ever. Did not seem to matter to them at all. I won’t recommend it to anyone.
