Confusing!
When I read dog whistle, I expected the silent whistle that only dogs could hear. I was wrong. Do not purchase if you donât want to hear the shrill sound of a regular whistle. I could have purchased at the $ store for a buck!

Itâs audible, not really fog frequency that I was hoping for. My dog does hers it, but Iâm not sure she will come back if she is too far away. (Donât really want to test that)

Works, but much louder than expected
We were hoping to have this more the “high pitch” that only dogs hear and this is not the case. Everyone hears it. Still not as loud as a regular whistle and perhaps that is the point. The pooch can hear it quite a ways off so we are using it and working on the training. Just know that it is not silent to people in any way

consistent sound – not too high pitched to be annoying
I have been using this with the come command for my dog to better hear me at a distance. He has responded well and comes running when I blow two quick toots. The sound is consistent and doesn’t really change tone whether you blow it softly or a louder toot, which makes it a recognizable sound for the dog. It’s also not too high pitched and annoying and doesn’t bother my ears when I am using it. (I really hate loud noises and a lot of whistles really do bother me – but not this one!)

It takes effort to get them to make the whistle sound, and I thought it would be the silent kind for training dogs. They are useless for my cause, but if you just want a whistle they are okay.

Bad whistle. Not worth the money.
They are made nice and I can hear the whistle. You can use it with your dog. But it is not what the average person thinks of when they look for a dog whistle.
