Great Busy toy
My Dog destroys toys very quickly, but this bone is tough and if you wedge a jerky treat inside – keeps her busy for 30+ minutes. It will crack eventually (this is my 3rd time purchasing) as she uses it daily and is chomping down HARD trying to breakdown the treat inside – but i dont worry about her accidently swallowing since it cracks (which you can see easily) and doesn’t chip or break off (i do will watch her while using the toy). overall love the quality, it’s a reliable toy i know will engage my tough chewer for a while. Will continue to purchase!

Fantastic
I rarely ever write reviews but for this toy I will. For the price I didnât expect anything grand, to be honest, I just needed to add something cheap to my same day delivery order.Anyway, my dog loves, loves, loves these rings. He chews and runs through the house with them, he plays with the rings just trying to pick them up with his paws. The blue rings are a bit softer and probably feel good on his teething gums and the rope is sturdy and he likes that texture too. This toy is absolutely amazing and better than some of the way more expensive toys we have gotten.Donât even hesitate to get it!

My ultimate go-to treat dispensing toy
This toy has its flaws, but it’s perfect for my dog! We love “blue bone” around here!It gets kind of gross after a few months of shoving small treats into its holes, but I am in the habit of just replacing it regularly. My small 2 year old chihuahua mix loves trying to get treats out of this toy and often just nibbles at it to taste the treats he inadvertently shoved deeper inside the bone. He has a small mouth and teeth, so it takes him a while to destroy it… it does eventually tear at the openings over time. The openings are small, so you’ll need small treats for these. I’ve found that this toy works great with small soft training treats like Zuke’s or Bixbi, as my dog can lick them out slowly instead of trying to remove hard treats. My dog is a “strong” chewer, but not a “power” chewer.. I doubt this would hold up to a larger dog with a stronger jaw, but it’s perfect for a small dog and puppies. When the openings start to tear I just order another. I don’t expect these to last forever.Again, it gets gross after enough treat residue is shoved so deep into it that my dog can’t get it out, but whatever. It’s the perfect little treat toy when I want to reward him and keep him occupied for about 10 minutes at the same time.”Blue bone” forever!

Dog likes it
My dog enjoys playing tug with this. I do feel as though this can break easily if you dug too hard on it but so far only a little bit of where has occurred. Itâs a pretty quiet toy. To occupy his time pretty well.

Durable and Engaging Chew Toy
The Petstages Orka Bone is a durable, treat-dispensing chew toy that keeps my dog entertained. We generally put a small block of cheese inside and dog a one happy guy. Gives him enough mental and physical exercise trying to get cheese out. It is highly durable and safe design. Easy to use, itâs a hit with my pup!

Doesnât last for my aggressive chewers
Itâs cute the blue rings are pretty hard kind of sturdy. My dogs are able to chew on them so itâs not hurting their teeth. I knew it wasnât going to last due to the middle part being fabric. My dogs are aggressive chewers. So the chewable part on a scale 1-5 is a 2.

Our puppyâs favorite
This is our second time purchasing this toy for a puppy. We bought one a few years ago and our pup loved it. The toy lasted until she grew and became an aggressive chewer. We bought this again for our new pup, and big sister keeps trying to steal it. Itâs a nice toy and holds up well.

New design (updated 1/2016)
Update 1/6/16 – I have requested that Amazon change the misleading photo, they said they would (last year) – just wanted to make note that at the time of this update, this is still NOT the bone you will receive. A picture of the new style can be found here (if it works) http://www.amazon.com/PetStages-Mini-Orka-Bone-Dog/dp/B006P46JPK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1452136332&sr=8-8&keywords=mini+orkaUpdate 2/12/15 – Sadly Orka has recently changed the design of this product so it is much thicker and tougher. The different textures on the thinner edges of the bones, that Baxter liked so much, are now focused on the middle (much thicker part) where he did not chew even on the older version. He won’t even touch this bone. This was his favorite toy, we are so sad that it has been changed.Original review: (5 stars)This was one of my dog’s first toys as a puppy. It is one of the only toys that he has never gotten tired of. He is an avid chewer, but not a really strong chewer, so it is perfect for him for hours at a time.Description:It is a fairly soft, flexible rubber type of material. Each part of the bone has a different raised texture to it. There are three tassels made of colorful canvas. Each is sewn down the center and tied in a fairly loose knot through a hole in one end of the bone.Pros:-It is very chewy for him because it is so flexible, but still makes him feel like he can get a good grip with his teeth. Some of the other rubber type bones we have tried, his teeth just squeak/slide right off and he doesn’t like even trying to chew on them.-For a 7 lb dog, this is the perfect size and weight for him. He can carry it around and flip it up to hold between his paws and comfortably chew on it in a laying down position.-We have had each last for several months of regular chewing.-He actually likes to chew and suck on (particularly when he was teething) the canvas ties.Cons:-They can chew pieces of the bone off and possibly swallow them. My boy always spits the pieces out and once I see that he is chewing it apart, it goes in the trash. Because of how soft it is, I do not think it would cause a problem, but it *could*.-He can chew the canvas ties apart and/or untie them and has swallowed a couple. He mostly chewed them up when he was teething and now that he is not, he never pays any attention to the ties on the bone except to use them to carry around. But when he was a puppy, I started untying them so he wouldn’t chew them apart or off and eat them.-The dye used on the canvas will fade as they are chewing on it.
