I’ve used a number of products to disguise medications. Most had moderate success. These little cones are packaged well, so there is less chance of them breaking apart in the package which occurred in most products packaged in bags. There is a nice, smooth little peanut butter center that you press the medication into then cover for total deception.While I think these cones are a great product and are produced by a small business ( which I’d love to support) the cone is a bit too large and therefore may require a smaller dog to bite into it, making the subterfuge a bust. Depending on how many medications you are dispensing may also prove these cones a bit expensive. I needed to give my fur baby 3 meds twice a day for an extended period of time and went through a package in a few days. Not sure what the calorie count is for each cone and that too might be some concern to you.Still, I’m giving these cones 5 stars because they are effective and my fur baby ate them with gusto. And although they may be a bit expensive to use for a chronic condition, for that once in a (hopefully) need use, they are the best I’ve found thus far.

Mixed feelings
I bought this product after a last ditch effort to get my dog to take his meds without having the shove them down his throat. We tried everything. Eventually he stopped wanting all the “pill pocket” variations. I used cheese, deli meat, hotdogs, you name it. With the amount of meds he is on and off of, it was getting to be very stressful. He’s such a good boy and HIGHLY food/treat motivated but he eventually learned to eat around the pill and spit that out. Fast toward to me finding this product. I love this product, it has relatively decent ingredients, insanely cute and my dog is OBSESSED. We’ve been using them for years without issue and I reccomend them to EVERYONE I know,including my vets. The only reason I have mixed feelings is because the last few batches have had little to no peanut butter filling in them with is 95% of the point. There have been mo issues up until recent with these and as I’ve said, we’ve been using them for years. So please, Medi-crunch, do better. I’m going to give them 4 stars only because I’ve been dossapointed lately. I’m hoping they see this and do better. Otherwise they are usually 5/5.

Perfect Pouch!
My 4yr old dog is stubborn and doesn’t like to take his medicine. Whether its chopped up in his food or hidden in a slice of cheese…he will find it and not touch it. But he does LOVE peanut butter and the peanut butter Medi-Crunch is perfect for him. No hassles, no extra sniffs wondering what it is, just toss in the pill and they’ll eat it like a treat! Could not recommend it more! Double up, stock up, take em on the go, its so easy and helpful for my furry friend. Not to mention, we love to support small business! Thank you!!

Better for large dogs with few medications
These are a great idea but didn’t arrive in good condition for me. The majority of the first tray I opened was broken.Though these are fairly large for a treat, they will really only hold one pill each. To pills the size of a Benadryl, I had to use one pill per treat, and with a standard capsule medication, the pill could not be fully hidden. Pushing it any further in was breaking the treat apart even more.These might be okay for a medium or larger dog for one small pill once or twice a day, but they are not efficient for those with multiple medications. They also are a bit too large for small dogs so keep that in mind when purchasing (they will chew more and taste the pill).They seem like a great idea and my larger dogs liked them, but they will not be a long term solution for our house that has both large and small dogs and multiple medications.
