Get the one with the buckles!
I’ve had covers like this before and returned because they were always using Velcro straps, and it would always end in destruction and jailbreak. However, I took a chance on this one with the buckles, and it did not disappoint. Our dog stays put, and can no longer wreak havoc on our house when she decides a game of Houdini would be fun. Dog mom approved!Update: The cover was completely destroyed by our pups after jumping and pulling on it a good amount. The clasps are like fun chew toys to puppies if they’re able to get a hold of one, but even with them broken, I was able to half tie them around each side to stay in place. That lasted a couple days before they scratched the material wide open with their claws and made a jailbreak during the night. I tried to use some clips to hold the tears open but it was more so wishful thinking and desperation rather than a viable solution, haha. This will be good if the kennel that your covering has some decent height to it but unfortunately, most of the playpen style kennels are 2 feet or less so it is within reach for any type of small dog who can jump. After this gave out, I actually ended up using the large boxes that the playpen and some other items came in and broke them down flat to put over the kennel with a couple of baskets filled with bathroom supplies to weigh them down so the pups couldn’t get out. Not the most pleasing to the eye, but it did a heck of a good job! I’m leaving this as a 5-star review for the product because it did exactly what it was supposed to do and the dimensions are spot on and designed well for the style of playpen that this covers. My gripe has more so to do with the dimensions of the playpen itself because the extremely low profile makes it much too easy for even the smallest of dogs to have access to the top because of its design flaw.

This is not a product for puppies
It lasted less than 24 hours before the puppies chewed a hole in the middle of the mesh and started climbing out. The rest of it fit tightly but the mesh sagged in the middle a bit and the puppies had access. It was a waste of money for what I needed it for and that was to keep from puppies climbing out of the pen and running amuck in my living room

Flimsy
This is for like, a tiny tea cup puppy. Not a medium or large pup.The material is cheap and flimsy . It fits and keeps my pup in so I guess it does the job. But it shifts around easily, my cats were able to crawl in through a slot. It’s just not as sturdy as I thought it would be.

Play pen cover
Works very good. Dog no longer attempts to jump out. Easy to install. Looks nice. Fair price.

It seems to do the trick and keep Gunther out of my poor guineapigs pen when he jumps up to go in and steal all his food.
