Paw parents, this is it!
I took a chance when I bought this pee pad cause it doesnât have any reviews or stars yet when I placed the order and Iâve always wanted to buy a pee pad that helps with the odor and ugly pee stain on the pad. So glad I found this on Amazon cause itâs really affordable and the size is what I was looking for. Please donât discontinue this product and please donât increase the price drastically. If the quality is still good and price will continue to be affordable in the future, this is where Iâm always gonna order and Iâll recommend this to all my family and friends for their paw friend. My Shih Tzu used it right away when I first got it with no problem, peed 5x on it and still no odor the whole day and so far this is the only pad where she doesnât pee on the side where it causes leak. Very good absorption, no pee paw prints, no more nauseating pee smell, no leaks, no ugly yellow pee stain. I highly recommend this product.

Does the Job Expected
No one -likes- puppy pads, but here we are, using them. I pulled out a puppy pad from a warehouse store to compare these 23×23 charcoal puppy pads with. I poured half a cup of water close to the corner on each. These puppy pads did seem to absorb the water faster than the other brand, the water did seem less likely to leak over the edges than the other brand, and it did feel dryer to the touch than the other brand.I’m not sure what the white band on two of the sides does, because the water didn’t really seem to react differently on the sides with it than without. Maybe it was less likely to make it to the edge, but not really enough for me to notice?I did not notice that my dog was more or less attracted to these pads than the other, and I didn’t notice a difference in the smell of either pad after they’d been used. Ours get changed out pretty quickly, though, so maybe if they were left longer I would notice a difference in smell.I have noticed that the charcoal layer gets torn pretty easily, but it doesn’t seem to matter as far as keeping the urine from leaking through. Also, sticky tabs on the back would be nice, but overall, these do the job they’re expected to do.

Good quality
Good size for my 6lb Maltese but could be for a little larger dog too. Absorbent and helps greatly with odor. Delivered as scheduled.

They seem to do the job
I got these after finding myself with a very last-minute foster dog, and she’d already peed on my brand new carpet a few times. I’d had a small 10-pack from a nearby store, and she did go on them once, but mostly I was just using them to soak up the pee that she’d left on my carpet, a foot away from the pad.Anyway, I got this giant 100-pack because I wanted to be prepared. At first, I was worried, “What if she thinks she’s SUPPOSED to pee/poop inside, as long as it’s on these pads?” and “Why would she decide to pee/poop specifically on these pads and not on the soft carpet like she’s been doing?”But in reading the description on these pads, I saw that these are specifically scented or something, so that puppies will, for whatever reason, associate the pads with the proper place to pee and poop, so I figured I’d give them a shot. And hey, if nothing else, I can use them to mop up the puddles she leaves elsewhere.Well, thankfully for me, but somewhat unfortunately for this review, she hasn’t peed or pooped inside since I got these. I did lay out a few of these in the areas that she’d previously done her business (because it seemed to be in the same area each time), but she just hasn’t done it since. I’m not sure if that’s just because she’s gotten used to being here and has learned the routine, but hey, I’m not complaining. The pads themselves seem to be of good quality, and I like the size of them. Also, the folded-over sides helps to make sure that you’re not getting leakage around the edges.I think this 100-pack is definitely worth it, especially if you have a new litter of puppies who are always peeing and pooping with reckless abandon. You may have to change the pads out more frequently if they get their claws or razor-sharp teeth into them, however, but overall, I’d say this is a great value. Also, as far as the pheromones or whatever it is that tells them to pee/poop on the pads, I can’t vouch for how well that works; I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing that my new dog hasn’t peed on them. But, considering I was worried that she’d start going on them instead of waiting to go outside, I’d say it’s a good thing that that didn’t happen, either.

Absorbant!
I was so eager to try these pads and I am not disappointed! My little Japanese Chin is a rather spoiled and picky fella who does not do well in inclement weather and thinks it is clearly beneath him to get wet just because he has to potty! Because of this he has used pee pads for many years and it’s worked out well for us. Recently, however, my 20 year old cat who was born with 3 legs, and thus pretty arthritic by now, began having trouble getting in and out of his liter box. He took it upon himself to start using the pee pads set out for the dog. While I was very relieved he did this instead of going in any other place in the house, (I mean the smell of cat urine is like no other right?!), I soon found out cats, or at least MY cat, has a much larger bladder than my little 9 pound dog (my cat weighs about 17 pounds) and when he used the pad it would always soak through. I have tried just about every brand there is – some more absorbant than others but none have been able to contain his urine. Today I was gone all day due to a family gathering and dreaded walking in the house to see just how much of a mess I had waiting for me. To my surprise there was no leakage!! The pad was indeed very wet, as it had been used by the 2 of them all day, but nothing had seeped through. The clouds parted and I suddenly heard angel voices!!!! Okay so it may not have been quite that dramatic but it surely felt like it! All I had to do was pick up the wet pad and lay a new one down – no bleacing the floors underneath as usual. I will forever be using these from this day forward! And the price was cheaper than many, many brands I have used in the past – double bonus!! These pads are also slightly larger than the typical pads, which I very much like!
