If you were alive in (gasp) the 80âs there is a very particular orange soccer ball that was around. A few different manufactures but all the same color. Iâve been trying to find something new the same color. This is the closest thing Iâve found. Good safe clean fun for the kids as well as the adults. Buying a second for my friends family.

Brighter than you might expect, a really fun after-dark activity for your kids
We were looking for activities for a community center our daughter-in-law oversees, and this light-up soccer ball seemed like a perfect fit for their needs. It comes with a handy storage bag, and more importantly, a small but adequate pump for inflating the ball, and keeping it at the proper pressure.Of course, the real reason for choosing this particular soccer ball isn’t that it’s the world’s most “technically correct” soccer ball (it isn’t…) but that it lights up, extending your play time as late as you might want to.The ball – not surprisingly – doesn’t really have the tactile “leather-like” feel of a traditional, regulation soccer ball, since no material that would provide that kind of feel would be opaque enough to allow for illuminating it from the inside. The surface is a bit harder and slicker than a “normal” soccer ball, so it wouldn’t really be appropriate for a serious game. That said, no one ordering this ball is likely to be chucking it onto the field of a World Cup match.Is it a great option for your kids to knock around on a long summer night (or longer winter night)? Not the same as a soccer ball
Going into this I knew that this wouldn’t be exactly like a soccer ball but I didn’t think about the fact that it would hurt my foot after a while of playing. Imagine kicking around a basketball for a while, there isn’t any padding like a soccer ball. It’s fun to mess around with but it short lived.
