Older cat loves this toy
This cat toy is a lifesaver keeping our cat entertained multiple times a day. It is well made comes with two feather heads and three of the plastic wands that attach by pushing them snuggly unto the spinner post. Our cat is over fifteen years old and she loves it. At first it seems the wand spins too fast. That is only a human perspective. The cat is not daunted by the speed. She played for several weeks with one feather head. It has only half the feathers left but is still useable. She occasionally pulls the whole thing off the post but that is only when she actually tackles it and holds it down while pulling it off. In other words, the cat is totally into her imaginary world where she has caught a bird. I have a few suggestions for improvement such as making the turn and click to put the base on a little more of a turn, it easily opens up when moving the toy from place to place ( not by the cat). Offering replacement feathers would be good although I feel hot glueing new ones on will not be a problem. A remote control would be great but the button can be pushed on and off with a foot. We use rechargeable batteries. Regular batteries would probably last about 2 weeks of regular use. Altogether this is a great product, totally worth the cost, highly recommend if you have a bored cat.

Spins fast!!
The idea is great, but the toy spins around very fast, and makes it hard to see the feather, and the cats shied away for a long while. They love it now but were afraid of it at first.

Deeply Conflicted
I had surgery at the beginning of the year that I’m having complications from. So I’m healing is very slow, I’m still in a lot of pain. I bought this in the first week of February because I couldn’t play with my cats as much as they were used to. They LOVE it! They really will play with it for hours if I let them. The first issue is, batteries. This toy sucks them down, and doesn’t like the rechargeable kind at all. But worse, it’s now been 10 weeks and this poor thing is dying. Even with fresh juice, it’s not moving like it used to and my boys are not having fun with it anymore.Bottom line this toy is expensive. Even if it wasn’t $20 out the gate, the amount of batteries I’ve put in it… oof I don’t even want to do the math. But now 10 weeks later I need to replace it? Even if my cats like it I just don’t think I can justify it. I’m going to try to find something else for them, but I do feel guilty, they really loved this one. So I’m deeply conflicted about this toy,

The toy spins way to fast, making it unsafe for cats. They like the feathers if I leave toy off. Of course won’t last long as they have already chewed off half the feathers in one day. So basically garbage, unless you use wand to play with yourself to keep from destroying feathers.

So glad I got this for a limitless energy cat
I’ve been using this as a supplement for my cats playtime because he is extremely high energy and never wants to stop playing even after our 5 thirty minutes play sessions, a result of him not wanting to stop playing always results in play biting that scratches up my ankles and feet because he’ll come over from the complete other side of the house just to bite softly or punch me without his claws , but this thing keeps him busy/non bitey and he likes how fast it goes, it’s pretty durable too because he grabbed it by the wand and carried it up his cat tree before dropping it on the floor from 4 feet up and then he pulled the wand off of the toy itsself but it just pushed right back on

Work great. My cat loves it and itâs mostly stationary which works if you have smaller space where if it went anywhere and get stuck.
