Doesnât tangle!
The leash is great, the ones I have purchased in the past that have a ribbon like leash often get tangled and stop retracting until you straighten them out. This leash retracts perfectly every time as it is an heavy duty cord and is very easy to use, it fits my hand nicely and the grip is very comfortable. I would recommend this leash 100%

Leash snapped off after 3 weeks of use
I have a 20 something pound dog, the leash snapped off right a couple inches below the carabineer, I have only had this leash for about 3 weeks. I could also tell the retractable mechanism was likely going to fail soon as well. Again only 3 weeks for a 20ish pound dogUpdate:The seller reached out to me, attempting to replace the leash. I consider this a terrible resolution as you are just swapping one terrible quality leash for another one that will likely suffer the same issues. I would highly advise you say far away from this brand.

Medium duty retractable leash
I use this for my 50 lb Malinois. It works well, retracts smoothly, and the lock is easy to engage and disengage. The string lead is fairly small gauge, so I wouldnât try this with much larger dogs or dogs that pull especially hard, but itâs strong enough that itâs pulled me off my bike when my dog stopped unnoticed and it didnât break.

Update: Two leashes that broke, received a 3rd but a different product
** UPDATE 3: Customer service reached back out and offered a new product, basing the 4 star review on their quick action, not this product. They sent a completely different leash, with a ribbon instead of a string that does seem studier. While it feels like it will last longer than the previous item, it’s much heavier and bulkier than the previous product, but the easiest for me to handle. My husband really likes it. Overall i would not recommend this specific item but the Customer service team was top notch.** UPDATE 2: The replacement leash just broke too, yesterday, when I went to push the stop/lock on it to keep my dog from running. On this one I can’t lock it now, it no longer catches and holds/ locks in place even with the lock down, it makes a very loud dragging sort of sound and the leash string just continues pulling out. Video is uploaded (turn sound up). The customer service was amazing though (hence me giving 2 stars not 1) and if you have a lightweight dog, this will probably be OK but it promises up to 110lbs yet two different ones couldn’t even handle my 45 pounder.** UPDATE: The seller reached out, there is a 1 yr warranty. They offered a replacement or refund, i requested a replacement to give the product another chance. Received it in 2 days, I’m hoping the issue with the original was just a fluke. My updated 4 star rating (from 2) is based on the great customer service & quick ship of the new item. I will update the product review once I’ve been able to put the new leash to longer use.** ORIGINAL: I haven’t had this product long but within 2 weeks of owning it (and using it multiple times per day since we dont have a fenced in yard), something came loose inside and rattles around inside. My dog does pull on the leash occasionally but not constantly, i couldn’t believe something popped so soon. It still works but it tends to get stuck in the lock position now, even when I don’t lock it, so the string stays loose. I have to tap the main body of the leash against my hand to get it to unlock and ravel back in. My dog is only 45lbs and I’m not sure that this would handle a 110lb dog as it claims especially since it already popped loose using it on a smaller dog.

Doesn’t last long
When I bought the leash 5 months ago I thought to myself “what a great deal.” However while walking my 52# lab today the spring snapped. It was not fully extended and the line dropped to the street surprising my dog and me at the same time. It’s very hard to find a quality leash that will last. I honestly thought this was a great leash until today. Three stars because it should have lasted much longer.

Amazing
Just what I wanted it off a retractable leash, it is quick to retract and does not get hung up on have slack. I have a 3 month old Dalmatian puppy and it’s not too tight that she has a hard time walking on it as far as the tension. The brake feature is genius I absolutely love it because locking and unlocking is a pain. The brake stops and them in the next split second just let’s go just as fast. I can’t wait to see how it holds up when she gets full grown, that remains to be seen. I am worried about it though but won’t count it out just yet. Great overall buy and would highly recommend.
