Terrific Toy!
I got this rose for my mini dachshund for Valentine’s Day and she absolutely loves it! I hid kibble in the pockets and she was able to successfully unwrap it. Even when it’s been emptied of food, she still likes to play with it. It’s full of crackle paper and she shakes the dickens out of it. The velcro that holds the rose together is strong holding and the pockets where the food is placed has held up to chewing and slobber. There is also a squeaky ball in the base of the stem, which is nice. My Hazel and I are both very happy with this rose!

Good Treat Toy
My puppy first got this toy as a gift. She loved it so much, that after a short time , it was torn in many places. I then purchased this as a replacement. For me, it was a great way to get my puppy to eat kibbles at a time when she was being a picky eater. There are 4 pockets to put treats in. I added some of her kibbles instead of treats. Once the pockets are full, you roll the toy up so that it resembles a rose and stem. Unfortunately, my puppy learned how to unroll the rose and eat the treats (kibbles) very fast, so it did not keep her occupied for very long. As much as she loved the toy, it wasn’t very durable. The toy was destroyed rather quickly. It is unfortunate that it didn’t last longer, because it is a rather cute way to give her treats. Will not however, replace it another time. In fairness, some puppies may not be as rough with the toy and it will last for longer.

Dog Loves!
My dog wouldn’t leave this thing alone BEFORE we put the treats inside. The rose opens up into 3 pockets, each one another puzzle for the dog to solve and then gets rewarded with what you put inside. I would recommend small Milkbone treats. A well made toy for your dog!

Our dog’s favorite toy
I really didn’t expect to fall in love with this dog toy. But, our Jack Russel mix sure has! We put a few loose kibble in the pockets and wrap it up tight, and she goes absolutely crazy for it. Lately, we’ve been only putting kibble in one or two of the three pockets, to keep her from getting used to predictable outcomes too much. Best part is, this has withstood months of daily use, and its still holding up quite well. The pockets are not as stiff as they once were, but they still do the trick. Our dog has destroyed about half the toys we buy here within a few weeks, but I’m confident that this one will hold up for many months more or longer. And, when it finally does bite the bullet, we’ll get another one of these, for sure!
